Architectural Alloys.

Minimalism is not a lack of something. It’s simply the perfect amount of something (Burroughs,2011)

Born from Industrial Chic, Architectural Alloys is a new wave of minimalist in store design straight from the warehouse Outshining the pre-existing high street trend (see right). Architectural Alloys allows for Geometrical structures, cool metals, icy greys, engineered framework and reflective boxes to create a sense of being caged and caught up in the brand whilst being able to move freely around the store. The Reminiscence of it’s predecessor is still evident, however not as literal and more refined.

Defacement. Design and youth aggression partner together to create Defacement of the human form. Hated by the old and admired by the new, street art expressionism can be seen anywhere and everywhere - a social reaction to government, a sexualised view on the world or a bold underground statement which gets people talking (origins of the statement seen to the right) now translated onto mannequins rather than the streets. This vm trend gives a bold, bright and rebellious look to displays allowing for basic collections to be pushed out their comfort zones.
