We generate our Town Market Reports every quarter to provide you with closed transaction data in the areas serviced by our 26 sales offices throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Queens, the North Fork and Westhampton Beach. With the spring season in full swing, early indications are for an active market across Long Island and Queens. Interest rates are comfortably low and demand is relatively strong. We see that well-priced, updated homes, particularly in the under $1,000,000 range, are selling quickly – many at above asking price with multiple offers. Sellers who price their homes properly and buyers who are ready to purchase will benefit most. From Queens to the Hamptons and beyond, we’ve represented buyers and sellers for nearly 100 years. MEDIAN The threshold which divides the real estate market into two equal halves, in reference to pricing. One half of the homes in the market were sold at a price above the median home price, while the other half were sold below that price.
