Offered in both wood-grained stainable surface and paintable smooth surface, our primary product offering is manufactured STANDARD with a 22 gauge steel exterior skin. Every product comes with a built-in adjustable hinge plate and an adjustable threshold. We also offer a 24 gauge factory prefinished white (polykote & primer) product for budget-minded projects. Every steel door we sell comes standard with a steel edge, rather than a wood edge, making every door panel completely and totally 100% rot resistant!

BUILT-IN ADVANTAGES

POLYURETHANE FOAM CORE Polyurethane foam enhances soundproofing and has insulation properties that are at least 4 times greater than wood doors. The foam also acts as a bonding agent, locking all internal components in place for enhanced durability.

FULL STEEL EDGE PERIMETER Our steel-edge doors receive the highest rating possible in the industry’s toughest forced entry test. A steel-edge door must withstand the force beyond 7 hits from a 100-pound test weight to achieve a Grade 40 rating.

ADJUSTABLE HINGE PLATE This one-of-a-kind hinge plate is built into our slab, allowing the door to be easily adjusted in any direction without removing it from the frame. Adjustments can be made with a screwdriver at any time.

Known to be a very durable, maintenance-free product, fiberglass doors offer the best of both worlds when it comes to beauty and quality. Like all of our products, every door is made with adjustable hinges and threshold.

BUILT-IN ADVANTAGES

DURABLE CONSTRUCTION Our fiberglass door collections are made from high-impact, compression-molded skins that are designed not to crack, splinter, warp, rot, or delaminate and feature composite top and bottom rails that protect against water infiltration.

WARMTH OF WOOD Fiberglass skins are compression molded with high quality, debossed wood grain patterns and architecturally correct rails and stiles. The skins easily accept paint or stain and replicate the appearance of real wood doors.

POLYURETHANE FOAM CORE Fully insulated with an inner core of polyurethane foam that acts both as a bonding agent and also provides superior insulation. Polyurethane foam enhances sound proofing and has insulation properties that are at least 4 times greater than wood doors.

THRESHOLD / SILL is the very bottom part of the door frame that rests on the floor. TRANSOM HEAD

DOOR SWEEP is a piece of weather-stripping at the bottom of the door that is weather resistant and forms a seal between the door sill and the door panel/slab. TRANSOM is the horizontal glass light that sits on top of the door unit. SIDELIGHT/S are fixed glass panels attached to both or either side of the door, outside the frame. CASING / BRICKMOLD is the trim that surrounds a front door opening, can be either basic rounded or square molding or a detailed, decorative design.

CLEAR LOW-E When you want the view and nothing but the view, Clear Glass is your answer. Low-E coating reflects heat back to its source, helping your home stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Low-E is applied to the inside of the glass and will not scratch off. The coating blocks damaging ultraviolet (UV) rays to help protect your furnishings from fading; yet will not prevent light from entering.

Buckeye Home Services covers every entry door product that we install with a 5-year labor protection warranty. 5-year warranty on the pre-finish of doors. 10-year warranty on glass products 10-year warranty on 24 gauge steel doors against warping, bowing, twisting, rusting, and delaminating. 20-year warranty on 22 gauge steel and fiberglass doors against warping, bowing, twisting, rusting and delaminating. Discounted rates are used when providing service for our entry door products following the initial coverage period. Nearly all products sold are designed with simplified service in mind. In almost all cases, any service that is needed can be taken care of in a matter of minutes within being on site. Warranties exclude: Pre-finish on dark stain and paint colors with western or southern exposures Pre-finish on doors with a storm door in front of it.
