On the Saturday morning of May 23rd 2015, over 500 local bachelors and bachelorettes will be gathering down in Lincoln Park, for the first annual Chicago Singles 5k.

The purpose of this 5k is to attract local Chicagoland singles to a morning leisure activity that they can benefit from both physically and emotionally. !

Sally is a 25-year-old who loves shopping at Trader Joes and cooking meals at home. She’s also heavily involved in her work as a Dental Assistant, but still finds the time to go out in River North the weekends with her friends and to her beloved spin class. ! Brendan is a 30-year-old who loves hitting the gym, and riding his bike down Lake Shore Drive. He too works hard as an Software Engineer, and enjoys spending the weekends attending live jams.!

- 10 AM start at 2150 North Cannon Drive! ! - Continue up North, past Fullerton to the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Monument! ! - Quick turn East -> head South on North Stockton Drive ! ! - Passing the North Pond Nature Sanctuary, down past Fullerton! ! - Continuing South passing the ! Lincoln Park Conservatory, Garden, Cultural Center, South Pound all the way back around to North Cannon Drive!
Road Blocks! From 9:30 AM – 12 PM the following roads will be closed down on May 23rd:! - North Cannon Drive! - North Stockton Drive ! - Entrance to North Lake Shore Drive!

After getting in your morning work-out, and choosing a snack or meal, from one of our four sponsors. You can head on over to the stage and activity tents where you will find live music, speed dating, human-sized games, and networking. At the end of the event all the participants will be added to blind date raffle, where they will be planned blind dates paid by our sponsors, for people to win. Each date will have two winners, where they can choose if they want go on the blind date together, if not, new winners will be drawn.!
Post-Event Activities !

In the networking and speed dating tent there will be name-tags provided when you enter inside. The game tent will have the following human-sized games; Jenga, Checkers, Connect-Four, and for those confident enough, Twister. At 101.9 The Mix’s stage, Whysowhite, a fun local Chicago band will be playing up-beat songs and covers. !
