Chant Out Loud with Amalia is intended to be a series of little story books accompanied with chants, to discover the Alternative Spellings of the English Language. Teachers, caregivers and parents can read out loud the book to their young learners and chant together. Fluent readers can as much use the book to read and explore alternative spellings, helping them to better read and write in English. Hoping that you will all enjoy that little English Learning Adventure with Amalia.

Hello my friends, it’s Amalia. Today, we went to a school outing at an animal park and we saw ducks in a pond. It was so funny hearing them quack.
Back to the classroom, Teacher Danielle taught us that the alternative spelling ‘ck’ has the same sound as /c/ and /k/. Here are some words:

duck black rocket
socks
clock
