VISITING DESIGN LECTURER NORTHUMBRIA UNIVERSITY SEPT 2015 PRESENT Guiding final year design students throughout their collection. The role requires an extensive knowledge of design, design contextualization, fabrications, construction, pattern cutting and the ability to adapt to individual aesthetics quickly and effectvley. FREELANCE MENSWEAR DESIGNER P & CO MAY 2012 -15 Working within a small menswear design team my responsibilities included the development of the commercially driven RTW collections. Taking the collections from conception through to initial sketched, pattern cutting and initial toiling/ sample making, tech pack production, fabric sourcing, liasing with factories and fabric supplers. MENSWEAR DESIGN INTERN ALEXANDER MCQUEEN JANUARY 2011-JUNE 2011. Interning through S/S and A/W 2011 my roles included CAD and technical drawings, tech pack production, pattern cutting, sample making, fitting prep, show prep and general errand running.
