Announcing the SCHOLARSHIPS of EXCELLENCE 2017/18 Scholarships of Excellence at AIT were inaugurated this year to celebrate our first year students in achieving 500 points or more in their leaving certificate examinations. They are a great way for us to congratulate these students on their academic endeavor and show that we are supporting them in their academic journey. AIT is a growing, internationally diverse community with global reach that continues to expand. Athlone Institute of Technology offers Scholarships of Excellence to entrants to the full-time undergraduate programmes either Higher Certificate (level 6), Ordinary Degree (level 7) or Honours Degree (level 8) programmes offered in the Institute. The Scholarship may be held with other Scholarships or Grants awarded by the Institute or by an external body.
