Command Center Integration

Instek Digital™ Real-Time Locating Solution (RTLS) is more than only a tracking solution. It combines tracking coordinates with live video footage.

This results in fast intervention in case of an event. It minimizes response time and video footage also provides visual evidence. Command Center features Real-Time Monitoring, Historical Route Monitoring and Intrusion/Restricted Area Monitoring.

UWB Design Feature --TOF • Ultra High Accuracy • Without time synchronize of all Anchors • 4D positioning • Small area & less Tag

1. Anchor (reference point and gateway in same device). will be taken 10ms to complete the two-way check of a pulse from tag.

2. Therefore, an anchor can receive the pulse send by 100 tags with 1Hz( one time per second) report rate(frequency) within 1000ms(1second) 1000ms = 10ms * 100tags(maximum)

14/25

UWB Design Feature --TDOA • High Accuracy • Require time synchronize of all Anchors • 3D positioning • large area & more Tag

1. All of Anchors require continued time synchronized. It only received one-way pulse from Tag. RTLS engine will according the database of TDOA to calculate the Tag position. 2. Therefore, an anchor can receive the pulse send by 2,048 tags with 1Hz( one time per second) report rate.

16/25

UWB Design Feature --Antenna effective range

1. The spectrum of SD-PU20G2 (Wall) is T shape, SD-PU20G3 (Ceiling) radiation; IMHO, external antenna will be with better RF transmission/reception than internal( PCB )antenna. 2. keep line of sight from reference node to Tag

3. Effective range between Tag and anchor is 100 meter

What is SmartTrace?

Instek Digital™ SmartTrace is a sophisticated Command Center feature. Utilizing the map, a person or object can be followed through nine different cameras. For example when an alarm is triggered, this specific video will be centered in the matrix and the surrounding eight cameras will show the video in the surrounding players on the screen.

SmartTrace makes following a person / object easily with video footage.

18/25

Real-Time Monitoring MONITOR 1

MONITOR 2

Utilizing Command Center’s map, the tag’s, cameras, transceivers and gateway’s are clearly displayed. When the tag’s alarm is triggered, SmartTrace will be initialized and video footage is available including map information.

19/25

Historical Monitoring MONITOR 1

MONITOR 2

Monitor the exact route of a person, including displaying the start and end time. Additionally video footage can be viewed, utilizing SmartTrace. SmartTrace will display video on nine different players, which makes it extremely easy to trace a person including video footage.

20/25

Intrusion / Restricted Area MONITOR 1

MONITOR 2

Restrict for example inmates to leave the yard during a determined time-frame. If they do, the alarm will be triggered and immediately video footage can be viewed and the inmate will be traceable on the map and through live video footage.

Requirement

vertical markets

At the airport a large number of baggage carries are handling luggage’s at the same time. Due to inefficient operations and procedures some luggage’s end-up in the wrong plane or get delayed. •

Solution

To optimize the baggage route, VIP luggage is tagged. This makes it possible to trace it in real-time and if necessary video footage is available. •

Business Challenge

The airport structure has difficult ceiling heights, which makes the installation of the reference nodes challenging. •
