hear how you and your husband met, tell bad jokes to make your kids laugh, get to know you, all the while capturing the connection between you and the ones you love. I have a drive to create beauty and connections with others, and my promise is to give you just that. Whether it’s a family, a couple, a mother-to-be or a newborn at home, I’m focused on capturing the authenticity of those relationships.

much to me and that is not something I take lightly. I want to give you more than just photographs, I want to give you art to treasure and an experience you will always remember. I can’t wait to share that with you.

Where will you photograph our session?
Nothing translates better than genuineness: It just leaves you feeling all oozy-gooey (that is a
scientific word) and warm inside. It’s a feeling that all of us love to experience. It’s also the main influencing factor for me whenever I photograph, especially with families.
Almost 90% of my family sessions take place at your home. Why? Not only are the young ones
happy and comfortable here, but home is where you spend all your time creating memories as a family: what could make a better backdrop?
For my couples, typically your session is a little more adventurous and I love to incorporate spe-
cial and sentimental locations to both of you. It’s a great idea to have a direction to what you are envisioning for your session---leave it to me to bring it to life!
What should I wear?
Wear the outfit that makes you feel AWESOME. If you love your legs, bust out
that comfy dress that shows them off. If you have a crazy cool sense of style, let it shine. If you kid wants to pick out their outfit for a couple of photographs, let them! They will feel like a star and you will get to remember this sweet little trait of theirs looking back on your photographs.
General Styling Tips: +Stay away from bright reds (this color will reflect back onto your skin leaving your skin looking like you have a bad case of rosacea), bright whites (dirt shows up more noticeably and it has the tendency to make things look larger than normal on film) crazy patterns (they are distracting) and large logos (you aren’t a billboard) on clothes. +Self conscious about a particular part of your body? Dress in a way that doesn’t accentuate it. For example if you are self-conscious over your arms, don’t wear a sleeveless shirt or dress. +Clothes that you are able to run around, hug, play, and kiss your husband in are always the fantastic choice!
What about hair + makeup?
I truly believe that your portrait session should be an accurate representation of who you are and I want you to focus the relationships. A good guideline is to wear just a little more makeup than usual. Pamper yourself the day of your session---hair, nails, reading; if you feel good, it radiates to your photographs.
How do you deliver my images? I want to make you having and sharing your portraits a black and white process. Your hi-resolution files are delivered to you in a beautiful custom online gallery that will be there for you for 10 years. You will have free digital downloading and professional grade prints at my cost from your gallery. You can even share your gallery with grandma, aunts, uncles, friends---and they can order photos as they please as well! No extra fees or ordering sessions—just you and your photos.
I don’t know how to pose and I’m nervous i’ll be awkward! Genuine and authetic portraits to me are most timeless and cherished. I focus on connection, not poses. Your session will be relaxed and organic in order to bring out what it is you love most about those people close to you!
Can I bring someone to my session? I ADORE when my clients bring their furrbabies along—after all they are part of the family too! And if grandparents want to join in on your family photos, please tell them they are welcomed at no additional charge. Family sessions are limited to immediate members only.
How long will it take to get back my images? I post teasers of your session within 3 days, and deliver your full gallery within 3 weeks. Your gallery is a finished, artistically edited compilation of your session. I choose only the best images of your session to edit and the rest are discarded.

session timeline
1. Inquiry All it takes is an email stating your interest to start with your session!
2. Securing your session You will receive via email: -Questionnaires, Session Contract, Invoices I want to get to know you and my questionnaires help me to do just that before we meet. I will send a list of tentative dates of availability for you to choose for your session. (This date will be tentative according to weather cooperation.) Your electronic invoice will be sent for your retainer and this locks in you being an official client!
3. Questions Via email or phone, we will discuss the ideas you have about your session, including locations and outfits and go over any additional questions you may still have.
4. Session Typically we will start shooting 1-2 hours before sunset. My sessions are relaxed, so be prepared for exploring and laughs!
5. Social media teasers I will post a teaser of your session 2-3 days after your session. Share, like, and comment away!
6. Gallery delivery You will receive an email containing the link to your finished online gallery within 3 weeks. Your gallery will be available for 10 years!
