We still know how to cut boots by hand and we do, we pull up the shanks by hand, and we can and do use a great many other hand operations to make you finer boots. I call these things to your attention because I want you to know that it is our intention to build the best boots. We’ll continue making fine boots until they pass a law requiring built-in obsolescence. Until then, we are going to give you boots that you can be proud to wear, boots that can claim the best quality available anywhere.”
