Under the surface of our times’ fast rhythms, you can find a School with its heart beating in the pulse of Fashion. PANSIK Scuola di Moda was founded in 1975 by Th. Panagopoulos in co-operation with the Italian House Grand Chic/Grande di Moda Italia, and has, ever since, provided its students with courses in all sections of Fashion and Media. It is a private educational institute accredited by the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs and EKEPIS, and its Diploma is recognized in Greece and in Europe. With its perennial experience in fashion, PANSIK is still a pioneer in education, providing its students with specialized courses, adapted to the market’s current demands.

Fashion Design

The Fashion Designer works exclusively on the artistic and designing part of the garment. To study in this field one must have an inclination and talent in designing, along with an unbridled imagination. You will learn all the techniques of Fashion Design, along with the principles and key points of the construction. Throughout the year the students are encouraged to experiment, try and be inspired. This program also includes the market’s investigation and analysis, along with promoting the Designer’s work in the Fashion industry.

Designers can work at fashion houses or at small and big industries where they will create their own collection. They can work at creating design on fabric or work at fashion magazines, TV channels or theaters/films.

Throughout the year the students participate in events, fashion shows and happenings, and they can visit the International Fashion Exhibitions in Paris, Milan, Barcelona or London. Moreover, they have the opportunity to create their own collection and present it live in the fashion show that PANSIK organizes for them! Furthermore, our graduates have the opportunity to work as freelancers with more than one companies or set up their own studio/atelier in order to promote and sell their collections. Towards the end of the year the students can enrich their professional experience through internships in companies, fashion blogs, small industries and ateliers.

This program embraces all the aspects of Fashion. The students learn all the techniques of designing, constructing, materializing and presenting a garment, all the way from the conception of the idea to realizing it in a 3D form. Throughout the year the students are encouraged to experiment, try and be inspired. They learn how to present their proposals and ideas in a complete and proper way and how to experiment with different techniques and materials. The main trait of this profession is the constant updating and investigating the fashion trends along with the constant quest for primal ideas.


Fashion Design & Construction 7 EMPLOYMENT The graduates can work for Fashion houses or small and big industries, where they can create their collections. They can also work at fashion magazines, TV channels, or take over fabric design. Moreover, they can set up their own studio, work as freelancers or stylists (TV channels, catwalks, photo shootings, fashion magazines, or as personal stylists of artists, TV hosts and celebrities). Finally, since our graduates have a complete knowledge of the design and construction they can immediately begin the production of their personal collection. At the end of their studies our students can enrich their experience through internships in companies, fashion blogs, industries and ateliers.

Throughout the year the students can participate in fashion events, shows and happenings, and visit international fashion exhibitions in Paris, Milan, Barcelona and London. They will also have the opportunity to create their own collection and present it in PANSIK’s annual fashion show.

Costume Design

The costume designers focus mainly on the historical costume, but since their knowledge covers every aspect of the modern fashion trends they can work on the design and construction of every type of clothing. This program includes all areas of fashion. The students learn all the techniques of fashion design along with the principles and key points of construction.

Modelist-Pattern Making

Modelist is one of the most wanted fields since it offers the best potential for immediate employment after the end of studies. The graduates can work at small or big industries, or they can establish their own company. They can work with the designers and stylists to materialize their designs into patterns. PANSIK has staffed so far most of the fashion industries with its graduates, who use our exclusive, geometry free, Italian method.

At the end of their studies, the graduates have the opportunity to enrich their experience through internships in companies, industries, cloakrooms and haute couture ateliers.

From the conceptual idea of a design to its materialization in a 3D form, from the research to its construction. It also includes the analysis of the Greek market and the promotion of the accessories in the fashion industry. Fashion Styling MODULES Styling is an area of great importance in the global fashion market and plays a significant role especially for the younger generation. Moreover, it is a creative source in a most profitable market. Styling can be materialized through the visual merchandising, the setting of a photo shooting, a TV show or a fashion catwalk, or through the personal styling. In order to be successful, one has to know thoroughly the market, the target audience and the fashion trends.

In this field the student, apart the hours in the classroom, will have the opportunity to attend lectures and seminars by acclaimed professionals, such as fashion editors, photographers, fashion designers, journalists, directors, etc. At the same time, they can visit with their instructors fashion ateliers, studios, fashion magazines and TV shows, so as to get in touch with the practical side of styling. Please note, that, throughout the year the student participate as styling assistants in expos, events and fashion shows that collaborate with PANSIK.

Fashion Journalism Fashion magazines, fashion portals & blogs, the glamorous world of Fashion within reach… Fashion is everywhere around us, in every aspect of our everyday life. Every media - printed or digital, entertaining or informative - regardless their target audience, propose, directly or indirectly, a fashion proposal. And the best person to promote these ideas is an experienced and properly trained journalist. Fashion Journalism is a complete educational program, held by acclaimed and experienced professionals who have created their personal history in the fashion industry.

Therefore, one must be trained to be creative, foresee the future trends and combine the traditional and innovative knowledge in order to enter this industry. Fashion Media & Communication is a realistic program of theoretical and industry oriented education, which is held by acclaimed professionals0 who have a perennial experience in the fashion industry. At the same time, the students understand the profession’s ethics, they develop their skills in the written and visual analysis and presentation of a thesis and, finally, they nurture the sense of cooperation within a creative team, aiming at satisfying the needs of their future customers.

Make up artist

The professional Makeup artist has the ability to highlight a person’s characteristics, which is necessary in both our professional and personal lives. A makeup artist can be employed in the media industry. Their responsibility is to produce a technically and artistically excellent outcome and fulfill the customers’ needs. This could apply to the basic makeup for a TV host or a most extreme makeup with special effects for an advertising campaign.

Depending on the jobs needs, the professional makeup artist can work either alone, or as assistant makeup artist or as member of a professional makeup team.
