For the last three years, San Ramon Valley High School has undergone various changes in order to improve the learning environment for students and teachers alike. Upon entering the campus, an enormous poster is displayed at the front of the school, showing off the new additions. The star of the show, the one that SRVHS has been waiting for, is a unique structure with state-of-the-art classrooms. Each classroom has been designed for a specific use: the professional labs for the chemistry classes, and the ceramics room for art students. SRVHS students, teachers, and parents have been waiting patiently for this moment, and it’s finally here!
The new academic building, known as “B Hall,” was finalized and made accessible for students during the last few weeks of school. The three story building offers spacious learning environments with more than fifty classrooms. Although students have become extremely familiar with “Portable City,” the portables are no longer necessary, and were recently removed. Instead, SRVHS’s baseball field will finally be reinstalled and utilized by our athletes in the fall. During the last two weeks of the school year, teachers began moving into B Hall in order to customize their classrooms. The third floor wasn’t fully prepared to be moved into, but teachers with classrooms on the first floor finished out their year in the new building.
Both students and teachers are extremely excited to learn in such an exquisite building, and can’t wait to make memories in a new environment. The incoming seniors have been anticipating this moment since their freshman year and are eager to end their high school career on a strong note in new, modern classrooms. Although summer vacation is always a time for celebration for students, the new school year brings nothing but excitement for the San Ramon Valley Wolves!
