Try everything on before your session. Make sure it works together and fits well. Clothing needs to be is pressed & hung Bring at least three clothing changes to the session: classic | your style | dressy Deep, saturated colors photograph MUCH better than lighter ones K eep clothes form fitting; loose clothing doesn’t photograph well. Think down to socks and shoes because they WILL show in your photos. Bring a belt - just in case! Layering is great: think about adding jackets, sweaters, scarves and other layering options. Add in accessories such as watches, sunglasses, suspenders, unique shoes, and favorite hats. Bring props p – favorite items such as sports equipment and/or jerseys; musical instruments, cars, etc. Wrinkled clothes WILL show in your photos, wrinkles are nearly impossible to remove in photoshop. Please avoid light blue shirts if possible; they rarely look as good in photos as you want. Avoid tiny stripes or very small patterns; large patterns such as checks are great, though. A void logos or graphic tees. We want the focus to fall on you and not on the words or designs on your clothing. Ideally, shoes should be neutral or dark, and clean. Bright white shoes are fine but will become a focal point. Unless intentionally growing a beard, make sure to shave on session day. Scruff cannot be edited, Wait to wear hats until the end of your session to avoid hat-head
