My topic is to study the changes in people’s living, as well as the forms and functions of important buildings in Wat Chen Dam Daek block before and now. Wat Chen Dam Daek bloc (the temple of Chinese who make ironwork) was founded during the French colonial era. The reason why it was called this way was because there were many Chinese ironworkers living there at that time. The special thing that made this bloc different from other areas was that there were three kinds of houses of worship: a Khmer pagoda, a Chinese temple and a Catholic church.
