ARCHITECTONICS Studio I September - October 2015 An individual exercise in spatial thinking that introduces design issues of 2-dimentional composition, massing models, and 3-dimentional
of creation was also non-structured and almost intuitive, giving an opportunity to fully experience the relations of the material, the shape, and imagination. Phase 3 - Perspective Inhabitation: production of four to six perspective drawings of the created massing model to demonstrate the inhabitational feeling.
4
The larger two drawings illustrate the major views of the model, and the other four represent a “walk-through of the spiral tunnel.
Phase 1 - 2d composition: Development and expansion of a 2d composition given. The original piece is Kurt Schwitters’s “Peacocks Tail” (1924). New element was added above the original composition and extention of the rays coming from the centre of “the eye”. The intention was to create an exploding dramatic composition, which would at the same time utilize organic and freeflowing shapes. Phase 2 - 3D composition: translation of a phase 1 composition into the third dimension. The dynamic expression was achieved through the elevated rays and the flowing spiral connecting the two major elements of the composition. As the model creates a feeling of a chaotic splash, the process

The individual project provides for an experimental classroom ‘cluster’, available for use by all age groups within the existing school, to accommodate a focus on learning through the environment. The new cluster is comprised of 6 classrooms and a shared common space.
flexibility, collaborative learning and knowledge exchange between students. The common space features interactive walls promoting environmental learning, a clerestory delivering natural light to the space, and a central ‘learning’ staircase with built-in bookshelves and a variety of nooks to work and relax.
The 6 classrooms are grouped into 3 pairs, each dedicated for a deffirent age range. The adjacent rooms are separated by foldable partitions to allow for spacial
The outdoor play / learning areas are provided for each classroom to encourage active learning.
The intention of this proposal was to create a greener and healthier space for students to promote collaboration and active learning.

C O - W O R K I N G S PA C E Commercial environment Studio IV January - April 2017 Given an existing 10-year-old commercial mixed-use building, designed in Studio III, in a team of 4 we developed a sustainable renovation proposal for a co-working space located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The project addresses concerns surrounding renovation, life safety and barrier-free access – considerations reflected in Part 3 of the OBC. The main design intent of the proposal is to separate private and public uses. All private offices are accommodated on the 3rd floor, while lounge, cafeteria, meeting rooms, and teracces are located on the second floor, accessible to guests. The focus of these studios was not the aesthetical quality of the building but sustainable systems and interior r e n o v a t i o n s . The intent was to apply s u s t a i n a b l e p r a c t i c e s learned in Energy in Design course to our Studio project. Some sustainable strategies include storm water reuse, green roof, natural ventilation, and passive heating.

The competition called for an observatory housing proposal that would allow visitors to stay in a small village of Roccascalegna, Italy, while o b s e r v i n g night skies, mavelous mountain views and a medieval castle. The preservation of historical legacy of Roccascalegna fortress and conservation of environment act as foundation to the project.
The unique human experience revolves around the intimate connection to landscapes and stars. The houses feature skylights, and outdoor terraces, while the most luxurious accommodation, the villa, offers a pool and a separate meditation room, with a fully glazed ceiling, natural rock wall, and a full-height glass wall adjacent to the pool.
The fortress houses an education centre, a bookshop, and an observatory station immersing visitors in astronomical, ecological and regional enlightenment.
