“Argile Verte du Velay” or “Green Clay from Velay”, a naturally unique product!
Argile du Velay provides different types of clays. All these clays are carefully selected to meet the requirements of the cosmetics market: - Green Clay from Velay (a natural blend of illite, montmorillonite and kaolinite) - Green Clay (montmorillonite) - Red Clay (montmorillonite) - White Clay (montmorillonite)
New products
Green Clay from Velay is extracted from the rich volcanic earth of the Auvergne region in France. It is made up of a remarkable list of properties and virtues that originate from the gradual erosion and breakdown of pre-existing rocks, particularly those containing feldspar. These mineral rich sediments were deposited during the tertiary period, between 65 thousand and 2.6 million years ago. Argile du Velay’s unique Green Clay is naturally layered alumino-silicate. It is a remarkable type of clay with a very high purity. 100% natural, it is made up of three different clays with complementary properties and virtues: illite, montmorillonite and kaolinite clays. Green Clay from Velay is rich in trace elements; it contains no silica and no fibre.
Ingredient list
Certificates/regulation
Green Clay from Velay is 100% natural. It is registered ECO-CERT by highly respected French independent certification agency for environment sustainability.

CENTRE EUROPÉEN DE DERMOCOSMETOLOGIE The european center of Dermocosmetology (ceD) is a French professional association that was founded in 1962 by 3 key figures of French scientific research and cosmetic industry.
Activities The CED members come from the industry, the universities and major skin research laboratories. The CED has several goals: • Promoting interdisciplinary research projects with existing competitive clusters (plastics, biology, textile, chemical industry, etc) • Being a link between the industry and the university and a meeting place for dynamic professional exchanges • Adapting the dermocosmetics education to the industry’s needs • Promoting the Rhône Alpes dermocosmetology at the national and international levels
The CED organizes sessions of continuous training on scientific matters: in 2012, “skin and Immunity” in Paris and “reconstructed skins” in Lyon. Lyon and the Rhône-Alpes region have a long tradition in life sciences and more than 160 companies are linked to the beauty industry. The C.E.D. wants to be the representative of this very dynamic sector, a true source of innovation. By taking part in the IN-COSMETICS exhibition, the CED wishes to increase its notoriety at the international level and to promote the scientific and dermocosmetologic know-how of the Rhône-Alpes region.
All year long, the CED organizes scientific events such as conferences, congresses, the most important being the JED (European Dermocosmetology Days). In 2011, the 25e edition’s topic was “cell activation and stem cells in dermocosmetology”. The next edition will take place in 2013 on “contribution of dermocosmetology to the cutaneous homeostasy”.

CIMAPREM take in account daily the sustainable development with a waste management based on sorting and waste reduction, with an energy saving behaviour. Moreover, our R&D Department being in touch with producers, develops organic formulas for cosmetics.
New products
With its experience in the peel-off, Cimaprem team has developed a revolutionary form which prevents any user to handle powders: Ready to use natural peel off gels based on marine cosmetics. The concept is a two gels mix conditioned in a twin pack single dose. One contains the active changeable according to the wishes of the client and allows incorporation of essential oils, fragrances, pigments or other assets. The resulting cosmetic can be transparent or opaque with cryo, thermo or neutral feeling and incorporate the full range of cosmetic actives. This technology can incorporate visual effects like gold and precious stones flakes, flower petals and many more. Our different ranges (jewellery, inlays, essential oils ...) make it a vehicle for innovative cosmetics and offer a NEW peel-off GENERATION.

MONOÏ INSTITUTE la nature lui a tout donné T M
Activities
New products
In the southern seas, Tahiti islands stretch out like a garden of eden. This is where Monoï was born, the precious result of 2,000 years of patient development and the product of a fruitful relationship between man and nature. A sensual expression of the maohi pharmacopoeia, Monoï de Tahiti® sublimates two of its most important ingredients - fresh Tiare Tahiti flowers and the exclusive Coconuts collected on the coral Islands of french Polynesia, combined to offer a rare moisturizing, soothing and reparative oil. Monoï de Tahiti is the first cosmetic product to have obtained an Appellation of Origin. Since April 1992, Monoï de Tahiti ingredients and production process have been strictly defined by decree :“Monoi de Tahiti is the product obtained by macerating Tiare blossoms in refined coconut oil. This oil is to be extracted from mature coconuts gathered fromCocos Nucifera trees growing in the coral soil in the geographic area of French Polynesia exclusively. Only "Tiare" flower buds from the Gardenia Tahitensis species and of Polynesian origin are acceptable. Founded in 1992 by the members of the “Groupement Interprofessionnel du Monoi de Tahiti”, the Monoï Institute brings together the best specialists in the natural resources of Tahiti and Her Islands. Its mission is to develop the knowledge of Monoi de Tahiti and inspire new beauty and well-being rituals drawing from the source of Ra’au Tahiti.
In 2012 the Monoï de Tahiti® will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the "Appellation of Origin" decree which defines its ingredients and method of preparation. At this occasion the Monoï Institute invites you to discover his new web documentary www.seachingfornewbeauty.com

PAT
SA
PLANT ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES producer and supplier of natural raw materials from plants for cosmetic industries, developed through innovative production processes.
Activities
Ingredient list
Plant Advanced Technologies (PAT) is a French start-up (NYSE Euronext Paris: FR0010785790) developing its own innovative solutions using plants to produce active compounds and recombinant proteins (“molecular farming”). Focus on two exclusive production platforms for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals: - PAT plant milking®: alternative method for the production of natural compounds from root exudation of plants grown soilless (patent WO0133942). - PAT Friday®: key solution for the production of recombinant proteins from leaf exudation using the natural system of carnivorous plants (patent WO/2008/040599). The company develops new active principles from plants and mainly operates in cosmetics, but also in pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.
The company calls for specific projects and personalized production contracts. We have worked on more than one hundred species for now, and so even more ingredients. We are ready to start new projects to explore other plants and discover new exclusive ingredients. Basic examples of ingredients: Polyphenols, flavonoids, terpenes, alcaloids…
Certificates/regulation
For the moment, an ISO 9001 certification is in progress (management of the quality).
New products
PAT presents an exclusive and cutting edge production platform for the supply of natural ingredients: PAT plant milking®. It is an eco-friendly solution allowing the harvest of secondary metabolites through root exudation of plants grown hydroponically. Benefits in comparison with traditional methods: • Renewable process preserving biodiversity & recycling plants • Plants are not destroyed during the production process and can be "milked" several times a year • A sourcing solution of high value active compounds found in roots of rare/endangered species • Outstanding yield can be obtained through plant elicitation • Access unique phyto-chemical profiles from live plant extraction: our final extracts are better than traditionally obtained extracts in terms of quality and efficiency
Environmental
The alternative methods PAT is offering to its clients are preserving biodiversity (no destruction of plants during the production process) contrary to traditional processes (crushing plants). The sustainable development is part of the business principles (“Green Chemistry”). The company is using a biological control during plants growth to avoid using pesticides and is controlling water resources which mean a lower impact on environment.
