Wind Jet News WIND JET qualificata alle finali del World Aviation Tournament WIND JET qualifies for the finals of the World Aviation Tournament a squadra di calcio outdoor 7-7 di Wind Jet ha conquistato a Portimao (Portogallo) il 3° posto alle finali del World Aviation Tournament svoltosi a Marzo 2011. Si tratta di una competizione a livello mondiale cui partecipano la gran parte delle compagnie aeree di tutto il Mondo. Windjet, unica rappresentativa italiana, ha acquisito di diritto la qualificazione alle fasi finali della prossima edizione che si terrà sempre in Portogallo nel 2012. La squadra Windjet ha battuto nella fase a gironi l’Air Canada (3-1), la Malev Hungarian Airlines (2-1) e l’ Air India (80) e ha pareggiato con US Airways (2-2) e Lufthansa (4-4). Battuta in semifinale dalla Malev Hungarian Airlines (1-2), ha conquistato il 3° posto nel torneo di qualificazione finale, battendo l’ Us Airways ( 3-0).

Educational Tour a Berlino per il turismo scolastico
School Educational Tour to Berlin
Si è svolto a Berlino dal 17 al 20 novembre 2011 un Educational Tour organizzato dai Tour Operator Romano Viaggi di Catania e Giaguaro di Palermo in partnership con Wind Jet. L’evento, che ha visto la partecipazione di 90 dirigenti scolastici provenienti da tutta la Sicilia, è stato occasione per visitare la storica capitale tedesca, nonché un’opportunità importante per presentare le nuove destinazioni in programmazione per il 2012 rivolte al Turismo Scolastico. Un esempio di collaborazione proficua tra imprenditori Siciliani di eccellenza disposti ad investire per supportare e rilanciare il settore turismo nel mondo della scuola. I due tour operators gestiscono un flusso complessivo di circa 45.000 studenti l’anno.

Tale processo infatti non è separabile dalla rifles-
sione etica, estetica e funzionale sulla stessa realtà rappresentata e poiché ciascuno di noi esprime questi giudizi di valore sulla base delle proprie credenze ed esperienze, paradossalmente più

surrealist digital spirit which clearly understands how the intellectual
alienating of a hyper-realistic image can
play a key role in the process of conveying a different meaning to that of the original one for the observer.
This process is not separable from
the ethical, aesthetic and functional
reflection represented by the same reality and since each of us expresses these
valid judgments on the basis of our own
beliefs and experiences paradoxically, the more realistic the image is the greater
the meaning can be awarded to it by the observer.
Johansson’s work, in addition to
his digital work, also includes the
development of life-size optical illusions (like the “chasm” in Sergels Torg
square in Stockholm, Sweden) which
inspire to be anything but graphic desk virtuosity because, as Erik points out,
pure realism does not exist even at the
highest resolution possible. Man, when
representing reality, always includes a bit of himself.
It is therefore no coincidence that his
work is often autobiographical in which he protrays himself as one who literally “dismantles” the road, or irons the
clothes while wearing them, or fresh
like vegetables bought at the grocers, like one who also shows the “cut” of
his personality in architectural design, in classicism, or in pure historical
surrealism, as the most spontaneous and most complicated thing there could be.

Demolita una delle tesi più abusate dall’industria: impossibile quantificare un mancato guadagno visto che gli sharers non comprerebbero comunque materiale originale È una vecchia storia figlia dell’economia a somma zero quella secondo cui la circolazione di contenuti pirata comporterebbe perdite economiche in termini di mancate vendite. Ma dove sta scritto che chi scarica un mp3 dalla rete, se non disponesse della tecnologia che gli consente di farlo, lo acquisterebbe nei circuiti legali? Questo è il dubbio sollevato da un giudice di Logroño, città della comunità autonoma di La Rioja. Come si fa a monetizzare i presunti danni economici subiti dall’industria per un fatto che semplicemente non è avvenuto? Si può, infatti, parlare di una perdita qualora il possessore di un determinato bene lo dovesse cedere contro la sua volontà, ma se quel bene non viene di fatto ceduto come si dimostra la perdita? Secondo il giudice iberico, chi scarica materiale dalla rete decide già prima di non acquistare materiale originale. E ciò per svariati motivi, uno tra dei quali, la volontà di verificare anticipatamente la qualità dei contenuti (il che smentirebbe il fatto che i “pirati” siano nient’altro che beceri mercificatori di cultura). Ma la cosa che più ha destato scalpore tra le argomentazioni del magistrato iberico è stato l’aver affermato come, semmai, la distribuzione di materiale pirata favorisca il mercato legale dal momento che consumatore potrebbe acquistare un contenuto dopo averlo provato gratuitamente in rete. Apriti cielo. A dire il vero la corte di Logroño non fa che affermare cioè che la stessa comunità di sharers sostiene da tempo e che l’ex manager di EMI Douglas Merrill ebbe infine a riconoscere: gli utenti del P2P sono in realtà abituali acquirenti sui circuiti legali.

And the skies opened up! The truth is that the court of Logroño has only confirmed what the sharers’ community has long sustained and for which former EMI manager, Douglas Merrill, had to finally acknowledge: P2P users are actually regular buyers on legal channels.

Il dodicesimo fiume del mondo nasce sugli altipiani del Tibet per sfociare nel Mar della Cina. Il Mekong si snoda nel suo lungo tragitto lambendo diverse culture e attraversando ben sei nazioni (Laos, Cambogia, Birmania, Tailandia, Cina e Vietnam), di ognuna delle quali costituisce fondamentale parte integrante. Nel suo percorso di oltre 4.180 km, il Lancangjiang o “Fiume Turbolento” (così lo chiamano nella Provincia di Yuannan) disegna e definisce confini nazionali. Ma quelli dell’Indocina sono confini spesso non netti, difficili da delineare, tra paludi, lagune, isole e acquitrini. Confini incerti tra popoli millenari, i cui gesti e le cui abitudini si tramandano da nonno a nipote in una rete di esperienze consolidate, le cui maglie esistono solo in relazione le une alle altre. Questi popoli vivono in eterna simbiosi col fiume traendo da esso cibo, acqua, e tutto ciò che costituisce la base fondante della loro economia. Per i viaggiatori di ieri e di oggi il Mekong si offre come il percorso predefinito per esplorare realtà policrome e multiformi, paesaggi disegnati sulla carta di riso e culture le cui origini si perdono nel tempo. The twelfth longest river in the world rises in the highlands of Tibet and flows into the South China Sea. The Mekong’s long journey meanders through six different cultures and countries (Laos, Cambodia, Burma, Thailand, China and Vietnam), each of which constitutes the essential part of it. Its currents lead you on a journey through the turbulent history of the peoples of Southeast Asia, whose daily lives consist of rice paddies, houseboats and swamps inter-mixed with a disarming naturalness with the wonderful landscape and the complexity of art, architectural design and aesthetics for so distant from that of the West. In the region of Laos, the Mekong River rushes through lush forests, passing both the ancient spiritual capital of Luang Prabang and the new one, Vientiane, becoming the only means of transport for its population and their products.

A chi si addentra in questa regione si offre, stagliandosi nella ricca vegetazione, lo scenario mozzafiato di oltre quaranta templi coperti dai caratteristici tetti spioventi a pagoda, con porte intarsiate in oro e splendide statue di Buddha. I monaci se ne prendono cura, coprendole con le tipiche stoffe rosso/arancio e venerandole col medesimo rispetto che a loro stessi è rivolto dalla popolazione. Delle statue del Buddha, in particolare, le poco distanti grotte di Pak Ou ospitano migliaia di esemplari. Si narra che nel XVI sec., il re Setthatirath volle proteggere la sua personale e ricchissima collezione dall’incombente invasione birmana, affidandola così al ventre della terra di questa regione. Già nella barca che conduce alla zona delle grotte si resta spiazzati alla vista dell’imponente parete di roccia verticale dove è ricavata l’apertura principale; si scorge subito la bianca scalinata in pietra in cima alla quale, sul parapetto, sono posate le prime delle innumerevoli statue conservate all’interno. Nella migliore tradizione dell’arte buddhista, gli occhi amigdaloidi dai contorni netti, il sorriso cristallizzato e riproposto uguale a se stesso su ogni esemplare, la superficie levigata del volto e il contrasto con la chioma riccia e chiaroscurale caratterizzano ogni singolo pezzo.

The monks, who look after them, are dressed in the typical red/orange swaddling cloth and are venerated with the same respect that they bestow on the population. Regarding the statues of the Buddha, in the not too distant Pak Ou caves, you will find the home to thousands of specimens. It is said that in the sixteenth century, King Setthatirath wanted to protect his personal, rich collection from the impending invasion of Burma, and so entrusted it to the belly of the earth in this region. While in the boat leading to the caves, you will be awed by the sight of the impressive vertical rock cliff where the main opening is. Here, you are faced with a white stone staircase and at its top, on the parapet, are positioned the first of countless statues kept there. In the best tradition of Buddhist art, the almond-shaped eyes and the crystallized smile are reproduced exactly on each piece with the smooth surface of the face and the contrasting dark curly hair characterizing each individual piece.

Sono svariati i villaggi che costellano la regione del Laos. Malgrado le diverse etnie, le abitudini e la vita quotidiana non differiscono tra loro in modo sostanziale: le donne si recano quotidianamente presso la riva e prendere l’acqua per cucinare; alcune indossano il tradizionale copricapo Hakka, dalle vivide cromie, in armonia col rosso/ arancio, colore sacro dell’Asia. Quando il fiume abbandona il Laos e penetra in Cambogia, attraverso vortici e cateratte (le Khone Falls) da vita ad uno dei luoghi più sorprendenti della regione, soprattutto nel punto in cui le acque si placano e si allargano a dismisura, parte integrante del nuovo paesaggio. La Cambogia è una monumentale pianura acquatica, che indossa un abito di risaie e di foreste umide di vapori, ma anche di orti, pagode e templi con profili di draghi e di dei, incarnazioni del Buddha onnipresente. Una vaga nebbiolina fumosa rende ovattata la visione delle sponde e stimola l’immaginazione su ciò che si cela all’interno. La morfologia delle coste muta continuamente, alberi e pareti rocciose si susseguono formando un onirico paesaggio di quinte cinesi. La capitale, Phnom Penh, è un centro in evidente crescita. A differenza che nel Laos, qui è possibile trovare qualche grande magazzino e ricchi mercati. Vi si trova una delle testimonianze tangibili della sofferenza che il regime degli Khmer Rossi inflisse alla popolazione cambogiana: Choeung Ek, un ex campo di sterminio, si trova a circa 15 km dalla capitale. Un museo ed un memoriale offrono al visitatore l’agghiacciante testimonianza dell’immane massacro perpetrato dal regime. In particolare, il centro S-21, il luogo in cui i prigionieri venivano interrogati e torturati prima di essere deportati al Choeung Ek. Ma la Cambogia è anche Angkor. A pochi chilometri dalla moderna città di Siem Reap, fu capitale dell’impero Khmer per più di cinque secoli.
There are several villages that dot the region of Laos. Although there are many different ethnic groups, customs and daily life do not differ much: every day, women go to the shore and get water for cooking, some wearing the traditional Hakka headgear whose vivid colours are in harmony with the sacred red/orange colour of Asia. When the river leaves Laos and enters Cambodia through whirlpools and waterfalls (the Khone Falls), it gives rise to one of the most striking locations in the region, especially at the point where the waters subside and dramatically widen to form the new the landscape. Cambodia is a monumental water plane, dressed in rice fields and humid forests, but also gardens, pagodas and temples with profiles of dragons, gods, and incarnations of the omnipresent Buddha. A smoky haze shrouds the river banks and stimulates the imagination of what may lie inside. The morphology of the coastline is constantly changing: trees and rock faces form a dreamlike landscape of a Chinese stage. The capital, Phnom Penh, is in obvious growth. Unlike Laos, here you can find large department stores and markets. Here too, is the tangible evidence of the suffering inflicted by the Khmer Rouge regime on the Cambodian people: Choeung Ek, a former death camp, located about 15 km from the capital. A museum and memorial centre offers visitors the chilling testimony of the terrible massacre perpetrated by the regime. Of note is the S-21centre, the place where prisoners were interrogated and tortured before being deported to Choeung Ek. But Cambodia is also Angkor. Located a few kilometers from the modern town of Siem Reap, it was the capital of the Khmer empire for more than five centuries. Its ruins extend over a vast area, making it impossible to visit it all.

I suoi resti si estendono per una superficie vastissima, tanto da renderne impossibile la visita completa. Le rovine dell’antico centro si sono letteralmente fuse col paesaggio circostante, divenendo esse stesse sostegno di alberi e mangrovie, habitat di muschi e piccola vegetazione. Le architetture sacre sono le uniche rimaste, poiché quelle secolari, compresi gli edifici reali, erano costruite in legno. I Templi, più di cento, sono essi stessi monumentali sculture. Osservando gli edifici di Angkor sembra che nulla nei progetti fosse lasciato al caso. Le sculture a bassorilievo e quelle più aggettanti, quasi a tuttotondo, sposano le forme e le dimensioni delle pareti, secondo logiche strutturali simili a quelle alla base della tessitura dei tappeti: supporto e decorazione sono concepiti e crescono insieme, imprescindibili l’uno dall’altra. Su alcune pareti si affollano figure femminili seminude, dalle forme generose e dai sorrisi accattivanti, su altre, invece, campeggiano immagini singole, volti dalle espressioni fisse e dal significato apotropaico. Ankor Wat è il maggiore dei complessi templari, simbolo della grandiosità della dinastia Khmer e massima espressione della sua concezione artistica . Qui, come in altri edifici, il confine tra l’elemento architettonico e l’opera scultorea è evanescente.
The ruins of the ancient centre are literally fused with the surrounding landscape, becoming supports for trees and mangroves, mosses and vegetation. The sacred temple buildings only remain as all other buildings, including the royal buildings, had been built of wood. The Temples (more than a hundred) are themselves monumental sculptures. Observing the buildings of Angkor, it seems that nothing was left to chance. The bas-relief and the most protruding sculptures combine shapes and wall dimentions according to a logical structure similar to those weaved into a carpet: support and decoration are conceived and grow together, binding one to the other. Some walls are crowded with seminude female figures with generous shapes and appealing smiles while on others, are individual images with fixed, apotropaic expressions. Ankor Wat is the biggest temple complex, the symbol of the grandeur of the Khmer dynasty and the maximum expression of its artistic conception (14). Here, as in other buildings, the boundary between architectural elements and the sculptural work is elusive.

È l’ultimo testimone silenzioso della fine della grande dinastia cambogiana di Angkor, delle recenti guerre combattute in cielo, dei massacri operati dagli Khmer Rossi, dello sfruttamento di una popolazione sempre troppo debole e troppo vittima di logiche molto lontane dalle proprie tradizioni. Se si è disposti a lasciarsi guidare dal suo corso, il fiume accompagna in un viaggio in cui passato e presente si mescolano fino a confondersi, fino a far perdere la percezione dei confini tra natura e civiltà, tra terreno e divino, tra realtà e sogno. Nel viaggio, a volte, i “figli” del Mekong sembrano fondersi col paesaggio, macchioline colorate in movimento, sfocate, indistinte sullo sfondo di un territorio lussureggiante, caldo e saturo di umidità. Poi, però, si guarda meglio; i contorni diventano netti, emergono i vividi colori della stoffa e della pelle. Le macchioline diventano individui, tanti, tutti diversi. È il popolo del Mekong, dell’Indocina. Ognuno una storia, una tradizione, un fardello di ricordi.
The stone is used interchangeably to act both structurally and ornamentally. This union reaches levels of absolute perfection and balance. In Vietnam, at the end of its course, the Mekong becomes Cuu Long, “Nine Dragons” giving rise to a series of smaller rivers which shape the Delta before encountering the tropical waters of the South China Sea. There is no preferential region from which to observe the Mekong. It is always part of the landscape it crosses. For the millions of people who live near the waters of the Mae Nam Khong (the Mother River),and on which they depend intimately, the great river represents life. Boats of various shapes and sizes are actually floating houses, often containing very large families. The Mekong represents above all history. It was the silent witness of the end of the last great Cambodian dynasty of Angkor, the recent wars fought in the sky, the massacres by the Khmer Rouge, and the exploitation of a ever weaken population, victims of a logic far removed from its own traditions. If you are willing to be guided by its course, the river will take you on a journey where the past and present are interwined, where the perception of boundaries between nature and civilization, land and the divine, reality and dreams are all lost. During the journey, its “children” seem to blend with the landscape of the Mekong, becoming coloured, blurry, indistinct moving dots on a background of a lush, and warm land, full of moisture. But then if you look closer, the contours become sharper, vivid colours of cloth and skin emerge. The dots become many individuals, all different. It is the people of the Mekong, of Indochina. Each of them a story, a tradition, a burden of memories.

In alcuni casi, oltre il 50% dell’energia prodotta per il riscaldamento si disperde ogni giorno attraverso infissi, pareti, soffitti e pavimento. Sicurezza Grazie alla maggiore flessibilità, una casa in legno assorbe molto di più i movimenti tellurici rispetto ad una struttura rigida in calcestruzzo. In un test su un edificio di sette piani, interamente in legno, è stato riprodotto un sisma di magnitudo 7,2 sulla scala Richter (la stessa intensità di uno dei più distruttivi accaduti in Giappone); l’edificio non soltanto ha resistito alle sollecitazioni, ma dopo il test è risultato perfettamente agibile (vedi su youtube: progetto SOFIE). Anche le prove di resistenza al fuoco hanno dato risultati indiscutibili sulle strutture con pannelli x-lam. A d i f fe re n za di quanto accade con le pareti in mattoni o calcestruzzo, l’incendio si propaga molto più lentamente, rimanendo persino circoscritto alla stanza in cui ha avuto origine. Un edificio in legno, oltre a garantire prestazioni energetiche superiori ed un elevato comfort abitativo, garantisce una superiore sicurezza contro i sismi ed il fuoco.

Acquario di Genova
Un universo sommerso L’Acquario di Genova, che oggi rappresenta uno dei punti di riferimento della città e quasi un suo “monumento storico”, è nato in occasione di “Expo ‘92”, iniziativa che celebrava il quinto anniversario della scoperta del Nuovo Mondo da parte di Cristoforo Colombo progetto, che comprendeva la riqualificazione dell’intera area dell’Antico Porto, fu realizzato dall’architetto genovese Renzo Piano mentre l’architettura interna è opera dell’architetto americano Peter Chermayeff. L’Acquario, che conta un milione e duecentomila visitatori l’anno (oltre venti milioni dall’apertura a oggi), è quello che presenta, in Europa, il maggior numero di ecosistemi. Il suo primato e il suo prestigio, però, non stanno solo nei numeri, ma anche nella qualità dei servizi offerti, nel continuo rinnovamento e nelle numerose iniziative promosse a favore dell’educazione ambientale, sia presso i vari visitatori sia presso le scolaresche che arrivano numerose in visita.
Iniziative di sensibilizzazione, di informazione, di coinvolgimento diretto, come il metodo di “edutainment” che è stato adottato e che riscuote notevole interesse; si tratta di coniugare l’informazione ambientale al gioco, al divertimento, stimolando nel visitatore la voglia di partecipare e di avvicinarsi nel modi più corretto all’ambiente circostante e ai suoi abitanti. Oltre a questo vi è un’intensa attività di ricerca, svolta in collaborazione con vari enti e istituzioni: per citare solo una fra le tante iniziative, il progetto Delfini Metropolitani prevede uno studio delle abitudini dei delfini costieri e dei loro rapporti con le attività umane. Fra le novità da segnalare, l’Acquario di Genova presenta l’installazione interattiva “Abissi Luci nel buio”, una immersione virtuale fino
a 4.500 metri di profondità per conoscere le specie che vivono da quelle parti. Attraverso filmati reali e dispositivi luminosi a raggi infrarossi, il visitatore ha l’impressione di calarsi negli abissi e di interagire con l’ambiente circostante. C’è poi la “Notte con gli squali”, dedicata ai ragazzi fra i 7 e i 13 anni: un’esperienza notturna unica,

The Aquarium of Genoa A world underwater The Aquarium of Genoa, which today represents one of the city’s almost “historical” landmarks was created for “Expo ‘92”, an initiative celebrating the fifth anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ discovery of the New World The project, which included the redevelopment of the entire historical port area was designed by architect Renzo Piano while the interior architecture was the work of American architect Peter Chermayeff. The Aquarium, which boasts more than a million visitors a year (twenty million to-date since its opening), has the largest number of ecosystems in all of Europe. Its primacy and prestige is not confined only to numbers but to the quality of services offered and the continuous renewal of numerous initiatives to promote environmental education, both among various visitors and the many visiting school groups. By raising awareness, providing information and using direct involvement as the adopted method of “edutainment”, this has helped increase interest and combines environmental information with play and fun, encouraging the visitor’s participation and helps them approach this environment and its inhabitants in a responsible way. In addition, extensive research is being carried out in collaboration with various organizations and institutions like the Metropolitan Dolphins project, to name just one, which involves studying the habits of coastal dolphins and the influence of human activities on them.
Among the many actives organised by the Aquarium is an interactive installation “Abyss Lights in the Dark”, a virtual dive down to 4,500 feet to encounter the species which live there. By using real life movies and infrared lighting, the visitor gets to experience the sensation of diving into the abyss and personally interacting with its environment. Then there is the “Night with the Sharks” dedicated to children between 7 and 13: a unique night time experience in which the children can bed-down for the night in front of the shark’s tank after dinner. These and other new, interesting initiatives give a special feel to the Aquarium of Genoa, a true live representation of the sea and its inhabitants.

Tra non molto passeranno dalle trame della narrazione fantascientifica alla concreta realtà ncora una volta Russia e Stati Uniti sono impegnati in una battaglia per guadagnare lo spazio, stavolta però l’obiettivo non è la luna, bensì il lancio della prima stazione spaziale ad utilizzo privato. Proprio così, le compagnie russe Orbital Technologies e RSC Energia che lanceranno la prima stazione spaziale ad uso commerciale entro il 2015 o, al massimo, 2016. Ciò chiaramente entra in diretta competizione con quanto annunciato qualche tempo fa dalla Bigelow Aerospace di Las Vegas, che nei suoi piani conta di raggiungere l’obiettivo entro il 2015. Una volta lanciata, la stazione costruita da Orbital e RSC (l’agenzia spaziale della Federazione Russa) volerà a circa 100 km dalla Stazione Spaziale Internazionale e a circa

An “Out of this World” vacation Holidays in space? In the not so distant future we’ll be passing from the machinations of narrative fiction to concrete reality
Once again, Russia and the United States are engaged in a battle to gain space, but this time the goal is not the moon, but the launch of the first space station for private use. That’s right! Two Russian companies, Orbital Technologies and RSC Energia, will launch the first commercial space station by 2015 or, at the least, by 2016. This is clearly direct competition to the announcement made by Bigelow Aerospace of Las Vegas some time ago; to reach the same target by 2015. Once launched, the station built by Orbital and RSC (the Russian Federation space agency) will fly about 100km from the International Space Station and about 350km from the Earth while the Soviet Soyuz rocket will carry groups of people who have decided to take this unusual holiday back and forth. On board, the space trotters will have accommodation with all the comforts: gourmet foods, web, audio and video connections to Earth, horizontal and vertical beds, gravity
resistant showers, and professional, high-resolution lens cameras to immortalise the panorama of space. Prices for these exclusive rooms are obviously not for everyone, and for this reason part of the profits will be reinvested into development research on other possible space activities. Even though it would seems that bookings for tourism purposes only are not lacking, several private companies already operating in the field of medical research and the crystallization of proteins as well as other companies engaged in geographical mapping and testing the durability of the materials have already shown signs of interest. Which of these two countries will win the record for having launched the first space hotel is not yet known and, in the end, is not important. The space in space is huge. If other space hotels are launched in the future (in addition to these two stations) it can only benefit the next generation of tourists.

Le sale permettono di apprezzare, al di là della bellezza e del valore documentario dei reperti, il senso della civiltà egizia, le espressioni artistiche, la struttura sociale e la vita quotidiana di quel popolo. A questo fine, cioè per conoscere meglio ogni aspetto, è stata creata all’interno del Museo una serie di percorsi particolari che tengono conto dei diversi interessi e delle diverse età dei visitatori. diocre. Eppure, a pensarci bene, lui stesso ci si ritrovava un po’ in quel ritratto così naif: un pilota d’aereo con una buona carriera e un ruolo abbastanza importante, ma sempre insoddisfatto e critico verso tutti, intimamente convinto di avere a che fare con degli incompetenti, sia sul lavoro sia nella vita privata. Ma l’incompetenza sul lavoro la si può dimostrare, esistono dei parametri, pur opinabili, di riferimento; l’incompetenza nei sentimenti, invece, è cosa difficile da individuare, e ancor più da dimostrare. Stava volando verso Berlino e per distogliersi un po’ da quei pensieri che rischiavano di diventare molesti rivolse una battuta al collega accanto a lui: chissà come sarà il cielo sopra Berlino, tu l’hai visto? La faccia perplessa del co-pilota gli fece capire che il film di Wenders non l’aveva visto, e non sapeva a cosa si riferisse. E allora, meglio tornare ai pensieri molesti, ché se li scacci quelli tornano nei momenti meno opportuni. Al centro di questi pensieri lei, ricercatrice in un istituto di biologia molecolare, una abituata a guardare la realtà al microscopio. Ed era proprio questo che non andava, lui aveva una visione più aerea, più sovrastante delle cose, un orizzonte più ampio e aperto. Come le oche, che nelle loro migrazioni raggiungono anche gli 8.000 metri di quota. Beh, forse le oche, per la loro immagine, non erano proprio l’esempio giusto, ma ci sarà stato pure un altro volatile… Perché loro due, così diversi, stavano insieme da 5 anni? Paura della solitudine? No, non per lui almeno, lui queste cose le aveva superate da un pezzo. E l’amore? Beh, su quello lui se la cavava dicendo che è un fenomeno irrazionale, o c’è o non c’è. Già, ma in questo caso c’era o non c’era? Mentre Berlino si avvicinava, quell’uomo competente e preparato sentiva vacillare le sue certezze, e soprattutto accusava una specie di vuoto d’aria interiore. Ma presto la manovra d’atterraggio avrebbe richiesto la massima concentrazione e il comandante non poteva permettersi distrazioni. Una volta a terra le avrebbe comprato un regalino e al ritorno, come tutti i banali mortali, sarebbe stato carino con lei, l’avrebbe portata a cena e così via. Ma poi, al primo incarico, sarebbe tornato alla sua dimensione, al suo sguardo aereo sul mondo, sarebbe tornato a volare alto. Come le oche.
