The project statement Background Founded in 1994, Amazon Inc. is the world's largest ecommerce retailer. The company currently employs more than 43,200 people in 18 U.S. states and 14 international locations. Its headquarters are in Seattle, Washington. Items available for purchase include books, movies, music, games, sportswear, automotive parts and more. Founder Jeff Bezos started selling only books on Amazon.com in 1995. During the first 30 days online, customers in 50 states and 45 countries ordered items. He shipped packages from his Seattle garage. In 2007, the company dove back into the books industry by introducing the Amazon Kindle ebook reader. There are over more than a million books, newspapers and magazines available for purchase on the Kindle, Kindle Touch and Kindle Fire. Target Audiences Amazon sell books, e-book, and e-reader, so the audience is general people and people who would like to buy e-reader. Objectives Infographic is created to promote Amazon products and form a better connection between the company and consumers. It is a fun to see information presented in image form. Key Benefit The Infographic will help people see the propose of book and e-book and they can see the increasing availability of e-content is prompting some to read more than in the past. Media Web
