In the beginning ...
I didn’t know I’d be starting a company. All I wanted was to make dinner. My kids had dietary restrictions, so opening a box of store bought macaroni and cheese was not an option. I needed to create meals that were nutritious, delicious, unprocessed, and easy to prepare. Mostly, I wanted to make dinners my family would love. Magnificent, healthful meals in minutes. Is that too much to ask? Back then, it was. So my parents (Frank and Judy) pitched in and we all started experimenting with herbs and spices. We put some interesting combinations together for pizza, pasta, roast chicken, barbecue … storing them in recipe-sized bags made prep time incredibly fast. My neighbors wanted some. My friends wanted some. We started bringing our culinary blends to local fairs. And then somebody said,"How about selling them at home parties?" That's exactly what we did. Grapeseed Oil
Grapeseed oil is great for dressings and dipping, but it is absolutely unbeatable for sautéing or frying because it can be heated to a higher temperature than other oils without burning. The higher the heat, the faster the cooking time — so meats stay juicier and vegetables retain more nutritional value. And the oil itself has some terrific health benefits. Grapeseed Oil is low in saturated fat, even lower than olive oil. It’s high in antioxidants, like Vitamin E. It has no cholesterol. There are even studies showing that it helps raise HDL (good cholesterol) and lower LDL (bad cholesterol) and may have other health benefits, like lowering blood pressure. 1/2 pound Israeli couscous 1 yellow squash, diced 1 zucchini diced 1 large red bell pepper, diced 1/2 cup kalamata olives, pitted and chopped 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves 3 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1/4 cup Wildtree Balsamic Dipping Oil Bring a large pot of water to boil over high heat, add 1tablespoon salt and couscous and cook until al dente, 10-12 minutes. Drain well and place in a large bowl. Add vegetables, olives, basil, lemon juice and Balsamic Dipping Oil and toss until combined; season with salt and pepper. Allow salad to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.

Heat the oven to 400째F with a sheet pan inside. While the oven and sheet pan are heating, whisk the one egg and pour it onto a plate. Pour out the contents of the packet onto a second plate. Dip the chicken breast first in egg and then in the Crispy Chicken Blend. Remove the now hot sheet pan from the oven and lightly oil a spot for the chicken breast. Place the chicken breast on that spot, return the pan to the oven, and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches at least 165째F.

2 pounds ground beef or ground turkey 6 tablespoons Wildtree Leslie's Chili Mix 1 can (28 ounce) crushed tomatoes 1 cup water 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or crushed red pepper to taste 1 can (15 ounce) kidney beans Shredded cheddar cheese (optional) Sour cream (optional) Brown the ground beef in a skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Combine Leslie's Chili Mix, tomatoes and water in a large saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Add the ground beef and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the cayenne pepper and kidney beans and cook until heated through. Serve with cheddar cheese and sour cream.

1 tablespoon Wildtree Grapeseed Oil 3 chicken breasts, cut into strips 1 package Wildtree Asian Skillet Meal 3 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium 2 cups water ž cup rice ½ cup peas Heat the Grapeseed Oil in a medium sized non-stick skillet. Add the chicken breast and begin to cook. Mix together the Asian Skillet Meal Seasoning, soy sauce and water. Once the chicken is partially cooked (it will finish cooking while the rice is cooking around it), add the rice to the pan and stir to coat with oil. Add in the Asian Skillet Meal mixture and peas and stir to combine. Cover, bring to a boil, and reduce to simmer. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the rice is completely cooked. Uncover and remove from heat, fluffing with a fork. Serve immediately.

Our older son is involved in numerous activities, and our younger son has some disabilities which means I am with him in therapy 4 days a week. Wildtree has truly been the answer to my need for an "ultra-flexible" schedule with lucrative pay. I work from home, on the schedule I choose, allowing me to be available to my family when I need to be. I currently earn an income that is more than many full-time positions in the corporate world. Almost three years ago, I met a woman who told me that my taco seasoning had pesticide in it. Of course I did not believe her, so I did some research. Shockingly, I found out that pesticide was only one of the many additives in my pantry. I gave Wildtree products a try and loved them so much that I gave the business a try. Being a full-time teacher and having four teenagers kept me busy enough, but Wildtree fit so perfectly into our lives. Perfect Piccata 1 pound thinly sliced chicken breast or veal cutlet ½ cup flour 2 tablespoons Natural Grapeseed Oil ¾ cup Piccata Sauce Salt and pepper Optional sliced lemon or butter Combine ½ cup of flour with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken or veal cutlets in the flour mixture.

Transfer the chicken or veal with sauce to a covered serving dish. Serve warm with a garden salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette.

Heat Natural Grapeseed Oil in large sauté pan, starting with 1 tablespoon, using more if necessary. Saute each side until juice runs clear or until desired doneness. Add ¾ cup of Piccata Sauce to the pan allowing it to cover the chicken or veal and heat. Be sure to scrape up the bits and pieces on the bottom of the pan as it adds to the flavor.
