Cordial greetings from Selous Kinga Lodge, a hideaway in the wilderness! I know you’re swamped so I’ll be brief. Hopefully, we can establish a fruitful business relationship.

I’m thrilled to introduce our beautiful safari lodge, which is in Mloka Village, Nyerere National Park - Rufiji, Tanzania. Barely 5 km from Mtemere Airstrip (Mtemere Gate), we’re just a few minutes away. With a little over decade in the industry, our reputation for excellence precedes us, and our facilities, services and standards are head and shoulders above the rest!

The Park, formerly Selous Game Reserve, is a naturalist’s dream which offers the epitome of bush wilderness. It’s the most natural, unexploited, diverse, and adventurous national park in Tanzania. We’re located on the banks of the Great Rufiji River which is the lifeline of the park so your esteemed guests will get to see hippos and crocodiles from their patios! We have a spacious restaurant with a skilled chef, and a magnificent lounge surrounded by trees with plenty of white colobus monkeys and the occasional elephant! We also have a well-stocked bar with tasty local and international beverages. We take pride in ensuring our esteemed guests enjoy the most luxurious stay in tastefully furnished cottages with a nonsmoking policy. They’re all wheelchair accessible and our staff will endeavour to assist guests with special needs as much as they possibly can.

Selous Kinga Lodge consists of 10 spacious ensuite cottages built in a contemporary african style with a mix of luxurious lodging and an authentic wilderness experience. They can all be rearranged as singles, doubles, triples, or quadruples with Wi-Fi connectivity. We also have a huge pool in pristine condition.

LOCATED ON THE SCENIC BANKS OF THE RUFIJI RIVER IN A VERY CLOSE VICINITY TO THE MIGHTY SELOUS GAME RESERVE. THE LODGE IS BUILT ON A GAME CONCESSION LOCATED ONLY SOME FEW KILOMETRES AWAY FROM THE ‘MTEMERE GATE’ ON THE NORTH-EASTERN SIDE OF THE RESERVE. SELOUS KINGA LODGE IS A SUPERB HOLIDAY DESTINATION WITH A UNIQUE MIX OF LUXURY LODGING, WARM TANZANIA HOSPITALITY AND AUTHENTIC WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE.

We provide excursions in Nyerere National Park, romantic sunrise/ sunset boat safaris along the Rufiji, walking safaris as well as cultural village tours. Moreover, road transfers and flights from Dar Es Salaam/ Arusha or Zanzibar can be arranged.
