Consumers Choice Awards Africa (CCAA) initially known as Tanzania Consumer Choice Awards (TCCA) founded in 2019 under the organisation of Lavine International Agency Limited; is a business awarding event that recognizes, enhances and promotes business excellence through consumers choice, in the United Republic of Tanzania for over two years 2019 and 2020, Then in 2021 and 2022 expand its influence to the African continent by bringing all nationalities in one platform through the online voting system which has been made effective by the digital advancement converting the whole world into a small village centralised at the tip of the hands.
CCAA 2022 was graced by the attendance of a Nollywood star and actress Iniobong Edokim from Nigeria famously known as “Iniedo” as the special guest. Different International Business figures such as Ms Anerlisa Muigai - CEO of Executive Still Water - Kenya, Ms Delphine Onyinye Okoronkwo - CEO of Bare 2 Beauty & Bare 2 Beauty Cosmetics - Nigeria, Norma Mngoma - CEO Suitably Norma - South Africa & Sibahle Sithole - Founder & MD - Smais Bricks South Africa, were among the attendees.
Furthermore, various companies participated in this year’s CCAA. Among the companies are Vodacom Tanzania, Halotel, CRDB Bank, DCB Bank, Absa Bank, Hyatt Regency the Kilimanjaro, Standard Chartered Bank, Jubilee General Insurance, Jubilee Health Insurance, Jubilee Life Insurance, Lake Oil Limited, Alaf Limited, Kilombero sugar, Blue Wave Cargo Limited, Simba Logistics, Plascon Tanzania, Smart Codes, ICEA General Insurance, Bwana Sukari, Air Tanzania, Levant, Silent Ocean Limited, K4s Security, Strategies Insurance, BM Coach official, Shabiby Bus Service, Abood Bus Service, Halisia Real Estates and many others, making it a night of power and greatness.
Voting was done online via; www.ccawardsafrica.co.tz from 9/10/2022 - 02/11/2022 and voting system was audited by Auditax International.
Basing on the majority of Consumer votes, all winners were announced and awarded on stage just to mention a few; Vodacom, Tigo & Halotel won in different sub categories on the Telecommunication sector, Crdb Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Absa Bank, DTB Bank & Absa Bank won in different sub categories of the Banking Sector. Hyatt Regency (Dar-es-salaam), Hotel Verde Zanzibar, Kempinski Gold Ghana, Suncity Resort South Africa & Levant Restaurant were announced winners in the hotel & hospitality sector. On Oil & Gas - Total Energies, Lake Oil & Lake Gas were announced winners. In the Insurance Services, 2022 winners were; Jubilee General Insurance, Strategies Insurance,
Jubilee Life Insurance. On the side of Aviation, Air Tanzania was voted for convenience in customer service.
Furthermore, various companies were awarded such as Silent Ocean Limited -the Marine Cargo, Shabiby Bus-passenger Road transportation, Usangu Logisticscargo Road transportation, Alaf Limited on Roofing, Twiga Cement - Cement Brand, Berger Paints painting brand, Hugo Domingo Ltd - Event Decor and Empower Limited - HR & PR Consults.
Leaders in business & Corporate were as well recognized and Mr Jared Awando - CEO for ICEA Lion Insurance was announced Male Corporate Leader of the year in Tanzania, Fauzia Malik - CEO Cool Blue Limited - Africa’s Most Inspiring Female Business Icon.

Consumer Choice Awards Africa 2022 was held at Diamond Jubilee VIP Hall - Dar es salaam Tanzania and the Guest of Honor was the Deputy Minister for Industries & Trade Hon. Exaud Silaoneka Kigahe Deputy Minister for Investments, Industries & Trade representing the Prime Minister for the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Kassim Majaliwa Majaliwa furthermore it was attended by a number of top rank business & corporate key decision makers from various sectors of the economy, to name a few ; Telecom, Banks, Insurance firms and many more.
