AT TASAKHTAA GLOBAL HOSPITAL, WE HAVE FULL TIME PEDIATRICIANS AVAILABLE MONDAY TO SUNDAY AND ON CALL AT NIGHT, BECAUSE THE HEALTH OF YOUR BABY IS IMPORTANT TO US.

We provide high-quality health services, including efficient investigation and treatment services for both the acute and chronic cases, for children and young people. We offer the following:

Immunizations According to the World Health Organization’s Child Survival One report, more than 10.8 million children under five year of age die each year. Most of these are preventable causes and almost all in developing countries, including Tanzania. In order to reduce these deaths, vaccinations have

to be done. At Tasakhtaa Global Hospital (TGH), we offer free routine vaccinations and additional international standard vaccines at a cost.

Neonatal Unit Of the 10.8 million deaths of children under give worldwide, 3.9 million occur in the first 28 days of life, during the neonatal period. At TGH, we offer comprehensive newborn care right from labor suite up to the end of the neonatal period. In case of any complications like prematurity or birth asphyxia, we have a well-equipped neonatal intensive care unit with a team of dedicated, well qualified personnel to handle any emergency.

We also have a Young Child Clinic (YCC) that runs from Monday to Friday (9am5:30pm) where we offer the following services:

Growth monitoring: This involved observing changes in a child’s physical development by regular measurement of weight and sometimes of length. It is an important tool in individual care for early detection of health and nutrition problems in growing children. Nutrition education: This includes education on the importance of breastfeeding, when to start weaning, which food to start first, and more.

“At TGH we have a general clinic run by a pediatrician every day of the week. This is where the diagnosis and treatment of various acute and chronic conditions are done.”
