Brief:
Resolution: A multi-cultural space that reconnects the neighbourhood and its Travellers. A performance zone that encourages community interaction A Multifunctional building to entertain, educate and showcase the essence of Costa Rica.
The performance Centre is to be a gateway into Al Centro From the East. Conceived as a portal, threshold and stage the program for the intervention is to stitch the neighbourhood of Escalante to the North East district of Carmen encouraging innovation and cultural diversity of Costa Rican people. 5

Live-Work Building The Final Project of My second Year incorporates a building that has a work space and living area. For My design I decide to keep a minimalistic concept with a kick. Two basic forms of a rectangle and a square but arranged in a impressive cantilever affect for the living space. Sustainable materials such as a rusted steel wall for the work are and concrete for the living space. My design has a water catching feature, wind and solar energy. This design is for a “Jam� making family. 21

Holywell National Recreation Park This exercise equipped the class with practising a measured survey. We visited Jamaica’s National Recreation Park in the Blue Mountain range and practised analysing, critiquing, measuring and working drawings of an existing structure. This project opened my perspective on onsite building modifications. 24
