( More than just an Architect )

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as Darnel a qualified enthusiastic young professional from Trinidad and Tobago located in the Caribbean. I have completed my Masters in Architecture at Anhalt University of Applied Science in Germany (Bauhaus). Prior to this, I completed my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Architecture at the University of Technology in Jamaica.

Thus far I have worked as an Architectural Engineering,Technician Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Architectural Designer and Landscape Architect; through these tenures I was assigned design, management and construction responsibilities for multiple projects disciplines. These opportunities have equipped me with strong organisation skills, accurate oral communication and good interpersonal skills.

Currently I have personally embarked on developing my Master thesis project regarding Wasted Plastic as an Architectural Material for Catastrophe relief Architecture in Tropical and Mediterranean climates. I am actively building a wealth of Mentors and professional advisors while personally developing my ideas towards physical architectural product development.

I honestly prefer to be a part of a dynamic ambitious group instead of the star player of a team. I approach my work openly and meticulously, combining all my previous experiences. This allows me to have new questions and constructive perspectives for projects and the office Atmosphere.

Lastly my interest outside of Architecture constantly pushes me to learn, grow and view the world from a wider perspective. I am passionate about being physically and mentally active. This can be as simple as a walk with the dog or as daring as cliff diving.
