BENEFITS OF A REGISTERED INTERIOR DESIGNER RETURN ON INVESTMENT (ROI) “The secret to success is to find out what people want and help them get it!” - Harry Browne You get what you pay for in good design. It is an investment in the future, leading to increased sales and increased profits. The first investment a client makes with a builder and/or designer isn’t with their money, it’s with their time, and they expect a positive ROI on that time. Without ROI, there would be no further transaction. Good interior design sells houses. Bad interior design will cheapen the product or worse. BUILDER BENEFITS I can save clients time and money by helping them avoid expensive mistakes and providing results that improve their lifestyles, their self-image, and their quest to be surrounded by beauty and function BUILDER BENEFITS Having the design specs and drawings organized, working within budgets, and keeping clients educated and comfortable with the building process are all part of my work ethic. Projects run efficiently, on time, on budget, and with the desired result. REGISTERED INTERIOR DESIGNER I have an extensive education, including continuing education in all aspects of design, and the ability to pull an entire project together with finesse. Additionally, I also hold the title of Vice President for the Home Builders Association. 21 YEARS OF DESIGN, BUGETING AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT My background in construction, budgeting, and LEED practices has assisted in my ability to execute designs while massaging a budget along the way as changes are implemented, ultimately ending with the desired result. Flexibility with Scope of Work – I offer various ways we can work together for the builders, developers, and clients. A clearly defined scope of work will be created noting what services will be provided and how I will be compensated so both parties are comfortable with our working relationship. I also guarantee value-based fees.

Our clients breathe a sigh of relief when they come into their space after a long day. WID Interiors are not fussy. They are low maintenance and easy to live in. The WID style creates harmony, interesting textures and shapes, and symmetry. There are no unusual details or unexpected edges and trimmings. No one thing should overpower anything else. TESTIMONIALS “Debbie’s ability to design with a budget allowed us to work to her specifications without changes which greatly assisted us in getting the project completed on schedule. The vision Debbie created could be implemented without compromise to the budget. I would highly recommend Debbie Evans and Whistler Interior Design. Their professionalism and knowledge directly assisted the Athletes Village in Whistler to be completed on time and on budget and resulted in successful sales.” - Brian Martin of Whistler 2020 Development Corp.
“Whistler Interior Design was held to a tight schedule to complete the improvements. Each unit was available for maintenance for one week only, usually 6-7 units each week. Guest’s were registered to check in at the end of each week. Whistler Interior Designs project management ensured that products, installers, and suppliers were coordinated so that the work was done within the time scheduled for each unit. They worked successfully within our budget to ensure that the products offered best value for the dollar and adjusted their scheduling to accommodate changes when required. To say we are very happy with the work would be a total understatement. Not including the carpeting, Whistler Interior Design was responsible for the ordering, shipping, and installing some 694 items! Downside? There wasn’t one. The project came in on time and on budget. As the chief co-coordinators on this project, Jon Ward and I are grateful that Whistler Interior Design was our partner on this project. We thank the entire team! I would highly recommend using their services and look forward to working with Whistler - Lynn Cartwright of Whistler Vacation club
“The Whistler Interior Design team helped to conquer the myriad challenges of fitting a large, multi-practitioner medical clinic into a somewhat awkwardly-shaped commercial space, and overcame stringent budget limitations and a somewhat challenging labour environment to help me create a clinic which truly sets a new high standard for both design and quality. Debbie Evans’ keen eye for color, space, and form helped to transform my own vision of a Medical Clinic from something merely functional into what has ended up an undeniably beautiful and healing environment. I would recommend serious consideration towards hiring the team at Whistler Interior Design for any design and construction projects which you may be considering.” - Lawrence Klein of Elaho Medical Clinic
“We really appreciate all your hard work and excellent design ideas to help us turn our house into a home. Many thanks to you and everyone involved.” - Bob and Lynda Malpass

“After looking at a few different design companies we selected Whistler Interior Design. Why? Because we were impressed with their knowledge, their design ideas, their customer service, and attention to detail. I had a picture in my mind of what each room should look like. The outcome was a thousand times nicer. We were over the moon with the transformation! We were overwhelmed by the quality of workmanship, the attention to detail, and the overall finished look. It surpassed all of our expectations in the overall look and quality. We had to pinch ourselves to know it was really our place! Whistler Interior Design is truly a professional organization that makes renovations easy even if you are first time renovators. They stick to your budget, produce quality work; they meet your timelines and along the way provide great suggestions and ideas that continue to enhance the overall look. We loved the fact [that] decisions [could] be made by email with photos to select from, etc. We felt we could be as active in the process as we wished or be totally hands off, whatever we decided. It was a pleasure to work with Debbie Evans as a designer. She is a professional who offered us multiple designs to select from. She is creative, listens well to every need identified, pays attention to the design, and reworked things until we all agreed everything was optimum. I have to say we are both thrilled with the work that Whistler Interior Design has done in transforming our nice but outdated home into a jaw droopingly beautiful mountain chalet. If you need to renovate in Whistler, or anywhere in BC for that matter, don’t even think about using anyone else. Whistler Interior Design makes it painless, delivers on time, on budget, and you will be impressed with the outcome. It was worth every penny!!!! Not only do we get to enjoy the beauty of these changes every single day now, but we have also enhanced the overall value of the home by more than double what we spent on the renovations.” - Gaye and Brian Bell
The goal was to upgrade our 80’s style townhouse to today’s standards. We also wanted to convert the half bathroom downstairs into a full bathroom. At the end of the project, we had a new kitchen, new full downstairs bathroom, new wood floor, renovated upstairs bathroom, new light fixtures, new upstairs loft window, new window/door trip and new window blinds. The place looks great and we have had many positive comments on the improvements. During construction, the team fixed problems as they saw them, a benefit that has long-term value to our property. The workmanship was very good.” - Bob and Barb Cowen
