Location and Visibility within the dealership The BMW Lifestyle shop is placed so as to be clearly visible for the customer. A possible location would be in a central position in the customer area along the customer flow, such as next to a BMW brand space with adjoining seating. Or preferred as part of the customer lounge on the second floor/ mezzanine floor where thecustomers find time to have a closer look at the BMW lifestyle products in a relaxing environment. The concept is aimed at rising attention through large scaled visuals, smart illumination forproduct highlighting as well as an eye-catching strip light framing the entrance.

PURE / LUXURY/QUALITY / UNIQUENESS
DESIGN CONCEPT SYSTEMATIC / IDENTIFICATION - The idea for the space arrangement starts from the lego module. it could achieve the smart design method in three-dimensional space from small to large, from easy to complex as its combination. PERMEABILITY / CONNECTIVITY - Also, Lifestyle shops will have a different condition from each dealer-shop, the design has been focused to creat the flexibility in terms of the entrance location and its accessibility, while keeping their own system. COHERENCE / CONTIUNOUS - As a design language, we propose the intergrated wall system which could be combined with different requried programs such as storage, wall shelve, basic ICS shelve, basic showcase, mannequins, etc. 6
7
MATERIALS & ATMOSPHERE PURE / LUXURY Highly reflected white surface and stainless steel will provide pure and luxury atmosphere. THE JIANG HOUSE Client: Mr. Jiang Designing Firm: Moodease Studio Position: Junior Designer Size: 600 sq. m (Architecture) 2800 sq. m (Landscape) Responsibility: construction management and furniture selection. The Jiang house is a vacation villa located in I-Lan county where is about an hour drive from Taipei city. The Jiang house is an architecture and interior project that only use wood and glass as materials. As part of my daily task, I coordinate the construction team, design team and technical team to make the on project is on the right schedule. Due to our client is an antique furniture collector, one of our job is helping him to select furniture that fits with this project from his large number of furniture collection. Senior Designer: Morphy Wang Project Manager: Leo Lee Construction Team: Jun-Yi Carpenter Co.
12
FURNITURE SELECTION The task we had for furniture selection is a bit different from the normal process due to our client is an antique furniture collector. Our client has gigantic collection of wood furniture, sculpture and artwork around the world with variation of different color and bread of wood. To differentiate the hierarchy of architecture, interior space and furniture, We came out of the strategy of choosing furniture and is dark color with more of the classical language. With that strategy, even all these furnitures are from different cultures it can still blend into the interior space and create the harmonized atmosphere. 14 14
15
WALL & PIPE SYSTEM The major difference between wood architecture and reinforced concrete architecuture is the density of walls. Not liking reinforced concrete wall, wood wall has hollow space between the finished surface and stud. Pipeline needs to be designed in a way that it will not be blocked by studs and joists. 16
17
WATERPROOF PROTECTION The primary concern of restroom is waterproofing ability and ventilation, specially when the space is mostly constructed by wood. Using wood as primary materials can bring several benefits, such as the smell of wood, quality texture and it continuously releases phytoncide . However, wood is very sensitive to change of humidity and can be easily deformed by this factor. Therefore, waterproof protection is the first concern in restroom. Because wood is very sensitive to humidity and water leaking is the major problem in restroom, Therefore we apply four layers of waterproof protection. The first layer is 10 mm waterproofing concrete board. The green PU layer goes to the second. The third layer is the brown FRP layer. Finally, the stone tiles go ontop of FRP. In this way, even if water goes through the first and second layers, it will not damage the structure. 18

LANDSCAPE & VEGETATION Taiwan is an island that is strongly influenced by Japanese culture due to 50 years of colonization. Therefore, Japanese style of landscape becomes a symbol of wealth and prestige. We took the elements of white sand and stone plates from traditional Japanese landscape to create the boundary between walkable and unwalkable space as well as the solid and void space. 20

SIDA COURTYARD CLUBHOUSE Client: SIDA/StarTimes Designing Firm: RSP Consultants Beijing Co.,Ltd Position: Junior Designer Size: 658 sq. m (Interior) Responsibility: Background research, concept development, design development, render supervision tender drawing, tender reviews and construction supervision. This project is located in the headquarter of StarTimes that is designed by RSP Beijing. Based on the client's request we design this club house as traditional Chinese Siheyuan yet staying simple and avoiding over decorative architectural language. Due to this club house is serving their visitants from Africa, we uses some African elements, such as traditional African masks and traditional African textile, within the space to show the love and respect for them. TRADITIONAL CHINESE ARCHITECTURE Traditional Chinese architecture, just like other traditional architecture, has very strict rules of proportion, structure, symmetry, pattern, texture, color and materials for designers to follow. To design a simplified interior space yet maintain the flavor of traditional chinese architecture, it is essential to understand the principle of traditional chinese architecture elements. After studying and understand the rules of traditional chinese architecture, we find out that back in the ancient china, there are only craftsmen instead of the architects. They design architecture from detail but not overall concept. Since Scholars are well-known for educating people to be honour men instead of being someone who can do whatever it takes to make money, We decide to apply the concept of traditional chinese academy in this project in hope this can show a little bit of different perspective to people nowadays. 24
25
DESIGN STRATEGY After deciding to apply the concept of traditional chinese academy, we take the idea of chinese calligraphy and ink painting and abstract it as a frame to frame out each interior walls without too much decoration to keep its simplicity. As a club house, it should show a certain level of luxury feeling to impress our guests, for the reason we choose red wood as material the major material and red color to add the flavor of chinese culture. Different from modern Western designs usually focus on overall concept, this project has drown out attention to detail, such as how do two materials meet together, how do two patterns fit together and so on.
26 26
27
FURNITURE SELECTION To obtain the simplicity, the furniture that is choosen follows the principle of 1. Minimum decoration - all the chinese furniture has horse legs, skinny waist, most likely no decoration at all. 2. Colors and materials - redwood, Budinga, for all the wood part and red fabric for textile 3. Because most of the guest to live in this club house will be their clients from Africa so we have added some African elements in it. 28
29
TOLIET DESIGN Toilet is designed in western style as our client required. To maintain the same principle of the design scheme, no complex decoration nor loud colors are applied in this design. Only neutral colors such as white, black, light brown, cream color is used. All the furniture and accessories are simple design as well. 30

DESIGN STRATEGY Due to the fantastic location of the plot, which contents a water system that provides fresh water and a series of mountain with countless trees for fresh air, it is perfect for developing a vacation district that provides relaxation and awesome environment to urban people. To maximize the advantage of the site, we take the concept of traditional Chinese Feng Shui saying - "fù yin bào yáng" to remain to a balanced stage of body and mind. To execute this concept, we set our front entrance toward to the water system and our back entrance facing to the mountain. The event Hall is placed in the center of this district to connect all the other functions and link everybody together with a major landscape garden toward to the front gate.
34
35
INTERIOR DESIGN To matching the overall image of the Scandinavia wooden houses, the interior space of the villa and apartment is design to have nordic elements with modern language. Some of the essential element is the fireplace and deer specimens on wall. Most of the furniture is picked with modern and simple language to demostrate the simple life style that the CHANGBAISHAN Resort provides. 36
37
LANDSCAPE DESIGN Since this vacation resort is set as an all year around resort, the landscape is designed to have different views with different atmosphere in four different seasons. Due to the extreme weather condition in winter, evergreen trees are essential to maintain the green and life feeling of this resort. Broadleaf trees are added after ensuring the site will stay green in the winter to give more flavor from season to season. During summer the whole site will look very green and gradually shift to yellow and red when autumn comes. Finally, Sakura trees are planted to bring the pink freshness during spring time and become one of the attraction for tourists to visit.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT The concept of this project is to design a self sustain village that can satisfy people's needs and provide different aspects of life style from other district in Beijing. To achieve this goal, one of our strategy to differentiate this project from others is to maximize our green area and bring the nature ecosystem to our everyday life. After satisfying our need for natural environment, the second concern is to consider the relationship between office, residential, commercial and gathering space. Since this is a commercial development, the first goal is always to maximize the client's benefit, yet remain all the essential programs. We come out the solution of opening up the center gathering area to the basement and place the conference center and part of commercial area on the basement so it does not occupy the total floor area. 42
43
DESIGN STRATEGY Maximizing the green area is not just about planting trees on the outdoor ground floor. To change the stereotype of garden and the life style of modern Chinese, We bring garden and greenary to the rooftop and the middle of buildings. This allows users have more visual and physical contact with natural environment. To mimic the natural environment, we take a step further by releasing the skyline of the whle campus with rooftop graden. This approach helps visitors to associate themselves with natural typography, such as hill and mountain. For each office building, we have place the center core on the north wall, by doing this it allows the buildings to have maximun natural light and the biggest and the most flexible interior space to use and design. 44 44

LANDSCAPE DESIGN To giving the hierarchy of the central landscape, we move the headquarter from the right hand side to the central axis, so when visitors enter the campus they can sense the primary architecture element is the headquarter. To add more layer into this landscape design and also for opening up the basement, we drop down the central garden and add water to soften the environment. Finally, we apply sky garden in the middle of all the buildings to link the roof garden with central courtyard to harmenized the whole environment.

EXTERIOR MASS & INTERIOR SPACE After researching about sculpture, the element that catch my interest the most the that sculptor is an art form that trying to find out the relationship of space, the space of solid, the space of void, the space that is created by the sculpture, the space within another space and so on. Therefore, creating an sculpture like architecture becomes the direction of this project. The advan tage of this direction is to 1. Helping sculptors to think how are they going to design and display their artwork in a such strong and impacting form. 2. Through providing different perception between interior and exterior space, it can inspired sculptors to see the spatial relationship from different perspectives. 60
