Fairfield Summer Theatre presents
Darin M. Art is very excited to be involved with his sixth production with Fairfield Summer Theatre! He played Father in Children of Eden; Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden; played keyboard in the pit for Hairspray; Prince Herbert (among other roles) in last year’s Spamalot, and played keyboard/conducted Ragtime. Darin has a MM degree in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University and a BM degree in Vocal & Piano Performance from Heidelberg College. He works as the Director of Music & Liturgy at St. Clare Church of College Hill (Cincinnati). Chelsey Cavender is thrilled to back on the Fairfield stage with this amazing cast. She was last seen with FST in the 2009 production of Seussical as Gertrude McFuzz. Chelsey has since earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Wright State University’s Professional Actor Training Program with an emphasis in Acting and has worked professionally throughout the Dayton/ Cincinnati region. Previous credits include: August: Osage County (Jean), Picnic (Millie), The Merchant of Venice (Portia), Barnaby Rudge (Gashford). Chelsey is now employed by the Educational Theatre Association, home of the International Thespian Society. She would like to thank her family for their constant love and support. God is good!! Chelsey is a proud Actor’s Equity Membership Candidate. Scott Christian is thrilled to be in another production with Fairfield Summer Theatre! He has previously been seen in FST’s Ragtime, the Musical, Spamalot, Hairspray, The Secret Garden, and Seussical. Other credits include: Sinclair’s Little Shop of Horrors, GHCT’s 25th Annual….Spelling Bee, and Urinetown, Encore’s Footloose and Children of Eden. He would like to thank Ryan, Emily and the rest of the cast and crew for this wonderful experience! Erin Heinrich is pleased to be back with FST after previous appearances in Children of Eden and The Secret Garden. Erin is the principal of Butler Tech School of the Arts, a public high school for students interested in arts careers. In recent years, she has performed with Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre, Middletown Lyric Theatre and OxACT. Erin took a brief hiatus from the stage to bring Emmett Heinrich into the world and show him the ropes, but she is excited to be back and sharing this experience with some of her favorite friends and her favorite husband. A giant thank you to the grandparents for all of their babysitting help! Ryan Heinrich is thrilled to be directing and acting in this second show of FST’s season, having previously directed Ragtime, Spamalot, Hairspray, The Secret Garden, Children of Eden and Seussical. Ryan has also directed for Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre and Rotary Presents. As a Music Director and Conductor, he has worked with Wright State and Miami University, and oversees the vocal music for many of the shows at Kings Island. As actor, Ryan has appeared on tour and in regional theatre. As a vocalist, he was twice a soloist with the Boston Pops (Keith Lockhart, conductor). He holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and Directing from The Boston Conservatory. Ryan would like to thank the two loves of his life, his beautiful wife, Erin and their young son, Emmett.

Drew Helton returns from NYC to do this show with this group of people whom he loves very much and to play a role he’s always wanted to play!! Regional Credits include: Seussical, the Musical (Horton the Elephant), Fiddler on the Roof (Motel Kamzoil), Les Misérables (Grantaire/The Pimp), I Love a Piano (George), and the WSU/DPO collaborative production of Leonard Bernstein’s “MASS”. Other Credits: Hairspray (Edna Turnblad), Into The Woods (The Baker), Spring Awakening (Moritz Stiefel), and Hello, Dolly! (Horace Vandergelder). BFA Musical Theatre – Wright State University. Betsy Horton returns in her fourth show with FST as rehearsal accompanist. She is currently employed at The Presbyterian Church in Hamilton as Contemporary Service Music Director and Youth Director. Betsy also teaches piano lessons, is an assistant director /accompanist for Fairfield show choirs, and plays for choirs and community theater shows in the Hamilton -Fairfield area. Betsy would like to thank Ryan and the Fairfield Summer Theatre for the opportunity to play for Spelling Bee! Sean Jones is excited to be involved with both FST shows this summer, Ragtime and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He has also been seen in FST's productions of Hairspray (Corny Collins), The Secret Garden (Dickon), Seussical (Cat in the Hat), and Into the Woods (Rapunzel's Prince). Sean is entering his senior year at Wright State University in the fall, working his way to a BFA in Acting with an Emphasis in Musical Theatre Emma Jordan is thrilled to be part of such a fun show, with a group of such talented and hilarious friends. Originally from Dickson, TN, she is a rising senior at Wright State University, pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. Favorite past credits include Spitfire Grill (Percy), The Wild Party (Madeleine True), The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Pickles), and God of Carnage (Veronica). Olivia Yokers is a recent graduate of Indiana University. Yokers will be returning to IU as a Graduate Assistant in Vocal Performance this fall. She is thrilled to be back with Fairfield Summer Theatre. Yokers’ first production with FST was as Rose in The Secret Garden (2012). Her most recent roles have been, Josephine in HMS Pinafore and Maria in Maria de Buenos Aires. Yokers was also a part of the Cincinnati Opera chorus during the 2012 and 2013 seasons. In 2012 she won the title of Cincinnati Opera Idol and in 2013 won first place in the Dayton Opera Guild competition.
