There are a lot of positives for living in Dartford and Dartford Living magazine is definitely one of them, it’s a great source of community information.

Full of local businesses, interesting articles and competitions, it’s like the whole of Dartford in a magazine, I enjoy my monthly read.

One of the strengths of Dartford Living is that unlike some publications it was born here in the town. It’s a Dartfordian. Being run and distributed by local people means it has that authentic community feel and it’s obvious from every page that it has the local interest at heart. Time and again, I run in to people who tell me they found out about some event or news from Dartford Living and it’s clear that people trust it. That’s not something that happens overnight.

Dartford Living has been with the town through thick and thin. Communities can sometimes be complicated but Dartford Living manages to inform and entertain with a huge dose of kindness and optimism. It’s not looking to create controversy or push an agenda and I think people love it because it’s reliable and friendly. It’s obvious that it’s created by people who aren’t from outside looking in but who are part of the community themselves.

I know that advertisers find it useful because it gets right to the heart of what small towns are about - supporting local businesses and getting good service from people who care. I’m not sure all readers appreciated how much Vijay, Dave and the team do for Dartford beyond the monthly magazine but they are hugely important to the community. They embraced digital - a big step for an independent community magazine - which was crucial in getting information to people during the pandemic and the Dartford Living live events help small businesses grow and network. They sponsor things, organise things and promote things. Dartford is very lucky to have them.

Having been retired for a few years and having free time during the evening, I decided to join Dartford Living Community Group as a Moderator. It's a great group and Dartford Living Magazine also gives news and community information. The magazine and the group were very welcome during Covid and the lockdown periods. It's good that it isn't a run of the mill selling site. Congratulations to Vijay and David on the 200th edition.

Congratulations to all at Dartford Living. Such a wonderful, local magazine, by local people. We have enjoyed working with them for many years now and it really isn’t just advertising, it is about being part of the community, which they are very passionate about.

Dartford is a thriving community to live in, and Dartford Living magazine reflects that in it's great content every month, showcasing what's going on locally and celebrating our town. Their Facebook group is also a go to for lively discussions and info on current events!

I personally appreciate being able to share things like campaigns and litter picks I am running, eco events such as the recent tree planting and was delighted to have had such great support for The Dartford Hedgehog Project, which is striving to help these vulnerable creatures flourish locally.

I know how hard the Vijay and Dave work to put the magazine together every month and wanted to say a massive thank for all they do in keeping local people informed and creating a great online community.
