(REALLY EASY!) CHOCOLATE FUDGE

With our day to day lives changing so much over the last year, I thought I’d share this really easy recipe. Just buy the ingredients with your next shop and they’ll sit in the cupboard happily until the time comes when you need a quick, easy and delicious activity to entertain the kids!

You’ll need: A tin of condensed milk – usually 398g

The same weight in milk chocolate A selection of tasty, decorative treats – smarties/marshmallow/ sprinkles/sweets etc What to do: Grease and line a 20cm square cake/ brownie tin.

Put 2 inches of water into a saucepan and heat up until it is just simmering. Pour the condensed milk into a glass bowl and sit on the top of the saucepan – making sure the bottom of the glass bowl does not touch the water underneath.

Add the chocolate and stir occasionally until the chocolate has melted and is fully combined with the condensed milk.

Pour the mix into the prepared tin and use the back of a spoon to level and smooth the top. Decorate with your choice of treats and pop into the fridge to set. This will take about 30 minutes. Cut into small squares.

You could try white chocolate (you may need slightly more) or dark chocolate.

Or how about stirring in a spoonful of Irish cream if you’re not making with kids!!
