Rescue is best

We have teamed up with Battersea Dog and Cats home - Brands Hatch to bring you regular listings of animals requiring rehoming.

Name: Dali; Breed: Mongrel; Sex: Male; Age: 3 years 4 months; Centre: Brands Hatch; Reference: 382542

Dali is an enthusiastic boy. He is a beautiful dog who loves to run really fast when off lead and charge around with a toy in his mouth but will also settle on his bed and watch the world go by. Dali is an extremely strong dog who will need owners who are able to confidently manage his strength and excitable nature. He also has a calm side and could live with older children in a quiet home with a private garden. Dali is comfortable with everyone he meets as long as they are willing to give him some attention and a gentle back rub! As a puppy Dali was involved in an incident with another dog that has made him unsure and worried when he see’s other dogs out and about. His new owners will need to be sympathetic around this and willing to put some training in to build his confidence.

Name: Storm; Breed: Mongrel; Sex: Male; Age: 0 years 3 months; Centre: Brands Hatch; Reference: 384910

Storm is beautiful young dog who is still growing into her floppy ears and oversized puppy paws! She is a sweet natured excitable young dog who loves nothing more than the company of her favourite people. Storm still has plenty of growing to do and is most likely going to be a large dog once she is fully grown! Storm still has a lot to learn about the world and is very quickly overwhelmed in new situations. She has been working to build her confidence and learn how to cope in conditions that she finds stressful. She is therefore looking for experienced new owners who will be able to confidently read her body language and be patient with her ongoing training. Storm will be a rewarding and affectionate companion to a home ready to dedicate time to her needs and keep her mind and body busy as she grows.

Battersea is now in a position to begin finding a small number of animals loving new homes again. The charity has introduced a new rehoming process to take into account social distancing rules. As a result, the charity is prioritising existing rehoming applications and prioritising customers who live a short distance from the three centres and have a home set up that enables safe and social distancing delivery.
