Thunderbird cF is an all-new carbon enduro frame, dedicated to the difficult terrain and riding conditions. With a perfect lateral stiffness, it is a great 29-er enduro machine with aggressive geometry and 160mm of progressive frame travel. Thunderbird cF will work great with the modern heavy-duty forks with 160-170mm travel.
Despite the big wheels, the new Thunderbird cF has the Dartmoor DNA and it will not let you down on big jumps, drops, or even in bike parks. For keeping the frame trouble-free, all pivot points are working on the stiff axles mounted on the sealed Max type bearings.
The progressive suspension design of the Thunderbird cF is perfect for both types of shocks: spring shocks and large volume air shocks. The construction reduces also the negative impact of braking on the suspension operation. Front triangle and seat stays are made of high-quality carbon fiber with increased wall thickness for better stiffness. The massive rocker is made of one piece of forged aluminum. To ensure the proper strength and durability the whole chainstay and the inserts in the points that are the most exposed to overload in carbon material are made of aluminum as well.

b efore we decided to launch the Thunderbird c F frame for mass production, it not only passed a series of tests on a load machine, where the overloads were much greater than required by the standards but it was also strictly tested on the toughest trails of many european enduro races by our team riders: Marcin Motyka – a legend of the polish bicycle scene and Olaf Odziomek – a young gun on the polish enduro scene. Another period of testing was including uncompromised shredding in the Austrian, c zech and polish bike parks, where our R&D Jan k iliński was checking the strength of the frame on the high drops and long jumps.
The Thunderbird cF is available either without a shock or with the highend Fox X2 Factory air shock with high-speed/low-speed compression and high-speed/low-speed rebound adjustments, with 2-pos. Open/Firm lever, coated with a Genuine kashima coat.

enduro demands maximum versatility from a bike – difficult and long uphilling, downhilling in the most difficult conditions, jumps, and drops are the standard challenges that the equipment must face. b ased on our own and our riders’ experience we placed a stiff single-pivot construction at the bike’s heart. This simple solution makes it possible to create a modern bike that fulfills the demands of even the most demanding riders. The advanced swingarm cage, consisting of 12 welded elements and tubes, is very stiff and the carefully designed pivot position allows high pedaling efficiency (with the antisquad parameter at about 100% pedal-bob effect is eliminated).
The swingarm is connected to the front triangle with a super stiff 17mm axle, mounted on three Max type bearings packed with waterproof Mobil grease. The design of the shock mount yoke means a full-length seat tube can be used, enabling plenty of room for the new long travel dropper posts. The frame design is based on modern, progressive geometry suitable for 27.5" wheels with a low positioned bb , a relatively long front triangle, 65° head tube angle, and 160mm frame travel. The blackbird climbs with ease but it will really come alive when shredding down.

The Viper is a truly compact stem with only 31mm extension but with a wide clamping area for both, the steerer tube and the handlebar. Our super-strong and wide asymmetric welded rim for gravity riding. With the 32mm inner width Thunder rim is designed for the 2.35” up to 2.6” tires. The asymmetric profile design reduce the difference in the length of the spokes on the right and left side of the wheel providing more equal spoke tension on both sides. Thunder has a tubeless ready profile design and the rim will keep even the wide tires safe in place at low pressure. Thunder rim is made of 6013-T5 aluminium alloy which is approx. 25% stronger than the standard 6061 alloy.
Important: When building the wheels the flat wall of the rim should be on the drive side for the rear wheel and on the brake side for the front wheel to equal the spoke tension properly. please check the assembly manual on the opposite page.
Thunder is an asymmetric rim and to calculate properly spokes length in spokes calculator it is necessary to compensate the left and right side flange distance of the hub in following way:
– for rear hubs -3.4mm to the left side flange distance and +3.4mm to the right side flange distance
– for front hubs +3.4mm to the left side flange distance and -3.4mm to the right side flange distance.
The Shield rim is well known for its stiffness and impact resistance, available at a reasonable price. It is the first choice for those who prefer durability over saving weight. While rims and tires are getting wider and wider, we have also created a new, wider version of the Shield. Shield Wide is as durable as all the previous models, but better for wider tires and lower pressure plus it is fully compatible with tubeless ready standard. The ultra-light Reel e xpert series rear hubs are the upgraded Reel pro v.2 hubs that were available before. The Reel e xpert hubs are equipped with a new wide pawls system with 108 engagement points and a reinforced structure to meet the requirements of modern drivetrains with cassettes generating very high loads when uphilling on a 51T or 52T cog.
each pawl has 2 teeth, catching the ratchet ring at the same time to increase the reliability of the pawls system. This super-strong system has already been used by us in the 2021 Dartmoor product range on Raven and Thunder straight-pull wheels.
There are four versions of Reel e xpert rear hubs, three are equipped with aluminum 7075 internal axle and freehubs compatible with Shimano HG (a common type of freehub), Shimano Microspline, or SRAM XD standards. The fourth version is dedicated to e-bikes and is equipped with a cr-Mo steel internal axle and a cr-Mo steel Shimano HG freehub to withstand the loads generated by the drivetrains of gravity e-bikes.

As with all our hubs, reliability is key! Reel v.2 hubs are designed for Trail, enduro and Freeride use. equipped with reliable steel freehub with 3-pawls system. They have 5 high-quality sealed bearings with custom selected Mobil waterproof grease and full contact seals.
These hubs are available either in 148x12mm b oost size or 142/135x12mm size with common Shimano HG or SRAM XD freehubs. Thanks to the QR adapter available as a spare part, this hub can be also transformed from 135x12mm to 135x10mm size.
The second generation of Reel rear hubs has a third bearing added inside the freehub body to increase durability when working with a 12-speed drivetrain and cassettes with the biggest cog size 50T or more.

roots lock-on grips
Roots grips are our answer to the needs of the gravity riders. The idea was to develop grips that will be thicker and softer than other grips on the market. With surface design showing mountains turning into the tree roots they not only look great but are ergonomically linked with the structure of the hand.
The grips come into their own in wet DH and Freeride tracks but our testers found them good enough even for enduro or Dirt Jumping.

ma Ze single side lock-on grips
Maze are the single side lock-on grips which offer the locking feature but without a plastic core under the whole length of the grips. The hard plastic sleeve is only on a short distance below the single lock-on ring. This way you keep all the advantages of the lock-on grips, such as staying in place safely, ability to remove them quickly and easily and preventing the mud to get under the rubber. Whilst retaining a much lighter weight and thick rubber for better comfort without increase of the outer diameter. The pattern of the rubber is made of
