Dublin Airport Garden , 2010 - One of a number of one off garden designs being developed for public places in collaboration with the landscape architect Diarmuid Gavin National Maritime Museum of Ireland, Dun Laoghaire , 2010 - Refurbishment and extension of the existing protected structure and associated grounds including the upgrade for universal access. Lansdowne Tennis Club, Dublin 4 , 2010 - A programme of extensive refurbishment and modernisation of the existing club house facility to include the rearrangement of the core internal functions. National School, Dalkey , 2010 - Extension and refurbishment works to existing school with the upgrading of the site access. Clanna Gael Fontenoy GFC, Dublin 4 , 2010 - This project is now in the second phase of the refurbishment and modernisation of the existing clubhouse in addition to master planning feasibility studies for the future expansion of the club facility. Sports Facility, Wicklow , 2010 - Proposed facilities could include: a full size GAA pitch, running track, all weather pitch, landscaping, a spectator stand and a club house with gymnasium. Refurbishment & extension of the existing National School, Killeshin , 2010 - New generic repeat design school to replace an existing National School in County Laois. The project includes the provision of the site specific infrastructure to facilitate the construction and adaptation of the design developed by the Department of Education Mixed-use Development, Drogheda , 2010 - A back land development which sensitively stitches together a number of sites varying in size and depth with the historic fabric, to create a substantial new town centre development of 1800sqm and a new public route through the historic town core providing a series of new public spaces. Drury Street Car Park, Dublin 2 , 2009 - Competition entry prepared, on behalf of Dublin City Council, in conjunction with a team led by Moston Construction Ltd for the redevelopment of the existing multistorey car park as a development providing retail, office space and roof top restaurants. Stewarts Hospital Special Olympics Commemorative Facility, Dublin , 2009 - A new integrated visitor facility and exhibition space located both adjacent to and over the existing sports facility at Stewarts Hospital. The new building is proposed as an “air rights� building over the existing superstructure and linked to the public reception area and provides an attractive upgrade of the existing facility which is located in a prominent location overlooking the Phoenix Park Mixed Use Development, Ardee Road Dundalk , 2009 - Mixed use development incorporating 250 apartments with retail and live work units incorporated into and adaptively reusing two protected structures. Office fitout for Mountbrook Homes, Dublin 2 , 2008 - Penthouse office fit out for Mountbrook Homes within a speculative office block. The brief was for a state of the art office fit out to take advantage of the spectacular views over Dublin City and Grand Canal Dock.

Donnybrook Mall redevelopment, Dublin 4 , 2008 - BCDH have been requested by Mountbrook Homes Ltd to prepare a series of studies for the redevelopment of a prominent site in Donnybrook. Feasibility Study for a site at the Malahide Road/ N32 Junction, Dublin , 2008 - The preparation of a study to assist Dublin City Council in developing a strategy for the redevelopment of a 2 hectare site. The process expanded to include the development of a strategy for the development brief for a phased public-private redevelopment of the site. Boland’s Mills, Dublin 2 , 2008 - The proposal for this strategically and historically important site focuses on opening the ground level of the site to encourage as much public access as possible to the new squares and plazas central to this development. The mixed use development included approximately 35,000 square meters of accommodation over 15 floors. Ringsend Community Centre, Dublin , 2008 - Proposal for a new custom designed community facility in Ringsend. The proposed development will include a large mixed use hall suitable for a wide variety of indoor sports, a large community crèche, youth training facilities and other associated community amenities in a state of the art development of approximately 3,000 square meters. Art Gallery and mixed use development, Derry , 2008 - Invited competition for the design of a new cultural centre opposite the guildhall in Derry City. Proposal to house a gallery as well as retail and commercial uses. Mixed Use Residential Development, Dublin 2 , 2008 - The redevelopment of this protected structure envisages the careful integration of new and old. The front portion of the building is carefully conserved where new elements counterbalance with old. A new entrance loggia enlivens the historic street frontage, from the loggia a top lit route leads to a new atrium, the interface of new and old. To the south, a residential courtyard, accessed via the atrium, is created. U2 Tower, Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin , 2006 - Value €160M The winner of an international competition organised by the DDDA, was selected from over 600 entries. The design of this 130 metre tall tower at the junction of the Rivers Liffey and Dodder set unprecedented challenges in terms of an architectural response to the technical difficulties arising from its dynamic shape. The design is primarily for residential use and features the recording studios for the band U2. Iarnród Éireann - Phoenix Park Station , 2005 - Develop end user requirements schedule and specification for new railway station to be designed and constructed by a third party over a live railway line. This project was carried out in conjunction with Aukett UK. Iarnród Éireann - Station Design Guide , 2005 - The proposal by Iarnrod Eireann was to formulate a set of design standards for implementation across the rail network. Working in conjunction with Aukett, a multidisciplinary architectural practice based in London, BCDH engaged in a process of research and design. The initial pilot study was to develop a prototypical railway station, which met or exceeded all the current best practice and legislative requirements in addition to providing an economical, robust and usable product. New Offices for Revenue, Ashtown gate, Dublin , 2004 - Value €5M Stages Fit-out project for an existing 6500 sqm office shell and core on behalf of the Office of Public Works comprising the creation of cellular offices and open plan office areas over 6 floors to accommodate 420 workstations. Theatre & Film School, UCD, Dublin , 2000 - Short listed competition entry for a new purpose made building at UCD to house a theatre & film faculty. Expo 2000 - Irish Pavilion , 2000 - Entry as part of the Irish Design Partnership into a shortlist of 6 proposals for the design & construction of a demountable pavilion to represent the Irish state at the international Expo in Hanover, Germany in 2000. Designyard, Temple Bar, Dublin , 2000 - Commissioned by Temple Bar Properties as part of its Cultural Programme, this reconstruction of a centre city warehouse to accommodate the National Centre for the Applied Arts was carried out in association with RKD Architects. The completed project was the recipient of an award for excellence from the Architectural Association of Ireland, a Regional Award from the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, a Street Architecture Award

U2 Studio, Dublin , 2000 - Reconstruction of existing industrial warehouse to accommodate new rehearsal and recording facilities including fully flexible Recording Room and Control Room. Tropical Fruit Building, Dublin , 2000 - The reconstruction of the Tropical fruit Building on Sir John Rogersons Quay in Dublin for Principle Management Ltd is widely acclaimed as a quintessential piece of urban orthodontics, new uses inserted into existing structures. This work was carried out in association with BYB Architects and was the recipient of an Award for excellence from the Architectural Association of Ireland, a Regional Award from the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland and was short listed for the prestigious Europa Nostra Award, an annual award promoted by the Commission of the European Union. Project Architect for the New Science Library at the University of California, Irvine, USA while with Stirling Wilford Architects. The new library sits astride a radial Mall emanating from the hub of the campus. The Reading Rooms are organised on six levels in a doughnut creating a circular quadrangle, the book stacks are accommodated in the wings. The library was completed in 1992 at a value of $22M. Also Project Architect for the Abando Passenger Interchange, Bilbao, Spain again while with SWA. This project was intended to integrate the city’s transport services into a single interchange. Local and national train services connect into the metro system and link with new suburban and national bus stations, 5 stations in 1. Felim’s final project at SWA was the Music School and Theatre Academy adjacent to the New State Gallery also by SWA. The new buildings and gardens complete the urban master plan earlier proposed by Jim Stirling for Konrad Adenaur Strasse. Where the State Gallery is about blank walls, this building is all about windows randomly positioned according to room sizes behind with a stone grid superimposed to establish an order. The Theatre Academy was completed in 1994 and the State Music School in 1999.
