The original model has applied the sewing thread as strings to tied all sticks comes together. The first tie was on the cross frame with two sticks. The second tie added a stick making the first diagonal frame. The third tie added another stick making the second diagonal frame. The final tie was tied up all four sticks for being stronger. It’s pretty hard to tie all come together yet it must require dexterity in every step of tying, and avoiding the situation of the rope loosen.

Thought about applying the white foam board. Cutting it into cube octagon form, then taking eight sticks to join at every single side. It’s pretty easy to connect every single stick but the strength of this material is so poor, easy to crack, and even broken when using the strings stretching the sticks for supporting the whole structure.

Thought about the wooden stick square. Cutting into a long cube octagon form 1.5 inches tall and drilling the holes on its three sides. It is joined by the three sticks 8 inches long that go through two sides by holes. Moreover, in the upper part, one stick is connected into the hole with a mini screw for tying. Doing similarly for the other one below part. the wooden joint method is applied well which provides a very efficient way of connecting the units in making the final kite’s frame structure is more stable and durable.
