WEEK 9 READING: TITLE OF READING

Question 1: What are Durer’s rules for perspectival projection? (Maximum 100 words) Perspectival projection in definition is simply a picture plane that does not has space captured within a frame, therefore the space is not captured within a space. Upon this picture, plane would be projected the spatial continuum which is seen through it and which is understood to contain all the various individual objects. Also, the material upon which, the individual figures ofr objects are drawn or painted or carved is thus negated, and instead reinterpreted as a mere “picture plane”.

Question 2: Describe homogenous space? (Maximum 100 words)

Homogenous space is a purely mathematical space. The ultimate basis of the homogeneity of geometric space would be that all its positions. It was said to be unlike the structure of psychophysiological space. This woukd be due to guaranteeing full rational upon.

QUAD PERSPECTIVE 1 + 2 The Black Lake The people of the cities belive that their God lies within the black lake, therefore this scene shows us how they interact with the lake different one from another.

The Altar of the Well Another religion would be those who believe that teir God lies within the very structure of the well. They conduct religious activity around the well and pray before it.

PERSPECTIVE SCENE 1 + 2

People of the Lake The chosen figures are those people who are praying beside the lake, and also those who are conducting activity beside the lake, they believe that the water will give them blessing. One figure also shows a mother that brought her children to the lake, to teach them about the gospel of their religion, bringing some kind of a bible.

The Ritual of the Well These people have a different religious belief. They believe that their God is within every part of the well, and therefore a special section of the building was made specially for the well, as if the well is some kind of an idol to them. There were also these prophets of the well, praying for those who seek help to their God.

Question 1: IWhat is the difference between autographic and allographic practice? (Maximum 100 words) Autographic is some kind of a that has elements depending on the author himself/herself. Autographic arts were usually correlated with the form of paintings or sculpture. It was said that the artwork’s authenticity itself correlate directly to the touch of the author. While on the other hand, allographic were said to be those artworks with many copies and has a different description of authenticity within it. It was also said to be producable without a direct intervention from the author, which means it doesn’t have the touch of its author.

Question 2: Why do architects need new representational techniques? (Maximum 100 words) Because the traditional techniques is quite outdated and we need new representational techniques. The progress and development of technologies and structures of the current world would require architects to develop a new representational techniques. The urban expansion and also the growth of cities would also trigger the same effect, in which architect would be deemed to innovate within their techniques to create a more complex designs which are suitable to the current days. Graphic representational with traditional techniques are not enough for the current days.
