D1- Central Park Gatehouse
Using a sketch of one of the trees in central park I created a treeline facade pattern(see bottom left) to make an abrupt transition between park and city
To continue this transition I proceeded to keep the building open air, adding enclosure to only the program that required shelter

D1- Ecology Center In my design for the ecology center I not only took a look at the building itself but to as how the immediate area of the site would be used as well
Looking at the program most of it seemed to be a private experience unless a class was in session so I used the site to bring in a more publice scheme

D2- Project 1
SOHO Fashion Studio
Using patterns from jordans I created partitions and openings in my building
Membrane allows for air to pass Air is released through the membrane of the sneakers through walls of shoe
Using thesethe Iopenings created Air moves throught to create wind flow openings to increase ventilation I used the Jordan 4’s to create a partion wall
When asked to pick a fashion designer I chose nike because of their curretnt and future prescence in the marketing world and the fact that they have a retail store in the area with no office branch nearby.
One of the main objectives was to keep the building hidden from the sight of view of my addition is.
Using the triangular pattern of the jordans i was able to recreate the nike symbol without disrupting the structure of the roof

D2- Project 3 Ems Station
My main idea was to separate the EMS work areas From the occupants relaxation Spaces. I wanted to create this division so when the officers are working they wouldn’t get distracted by proximity to or noise from the communal Spaces. The same goes for when they where in the communal spaces. They are on break so I wanted them to be able to relax and not worry about work for the amount of time they are there.
For the separation I decided to use this idea of a main staircase that divides the two areas. Since this would be in the center of the building i tried to use it to bring more light into the interior as well

D3-Bushwick elementary school
Starting off I decided to create a separation between the education and public zones
I used the intersecting zone to create a recessed outdoor area producing a sheltered play area for kindergarden use
The boundary for that internal zone became the core circulation for the building
I utililized the dead space at the corners that could’nt allow for classrooms to create verical circulation towers
