In our commitment to excellence, Gerald Peters is setting new standards with a new location designed to elevate the client experience even further.

The countdown is on for the grand opening of our new flagship showroom at 1461 Richmond Road, Staten Island this Spring. "This has been a dream for our family for decades and it is finally becoming a reality," Peter Amerosi, Vice President of Gerald Peters. "We cannot wait to share all the updates with you!"

Gerald Peters has been proudly serving the Staten Island community for decades. Since its founding in 1982, Gerald Peters has put clients first, offering unsurpassed customer service and a wide selection of jewelry and watches. The new flagship store will provide an unparalleled luxury experience for clients and visi tors alike, as well as offer an enhanced selection of jewelry and watch brands including Rolex, Breitling, Roberto Coin and Tacori and Gerald Peters Fashion and Bridal Collections.

Gerald Peters’ Vice President, Peter Amerosi, recognizes that the needs and desires of today’s luxury consumers have evolved. Customers are looking not just to buy, but to enjoy the journey in new ways. “The main goal for this new store is to greatly enhance the client experience,” he says. “We look forward to welcoming clients and visitors to not just come and buy, but to spend time here to relax, have a drink and feel like they are among friends.”

The Gerald Peters Experience begins the moment clients walk through the door. Double-height arched windows allow the store to be bathed in natural light, enhancing the beauty of the jewelry and watches on display. Decorated in wood and gold tones, the store’s main level will have multiple lounge areas and a full-service bar.

The flagship’s lower level offers a more intimate setting for the bridal boutique and jewelers’ workshop. Prospective brides and grooms will be welcomed into private VIP seating areas, where they can take all the time they need to find, or create, their perfect bridal jewelry. “Bridal is a core focus for Gerald Peters,” says Vice President Gerald Amerosi.

“While we offer ready-made bridal jewelry, our custom bridal pieces ensure that every aspect of the ring, from start to finish, is crafted perfectly to the couple’s exact specifications.”

Generations of families have trusted Gerald Peters with their precious jewelry. On-site expert jewelers are available not only to repair jewels, but to bring new life to treasured heirloom pieces. Clients can transform sentimental jewelry into newer, more modern styles, ensuring that multiple generations can enjoy wearing their inherited pieces.

The entire team at Gerald Peters, some of whom have worked at the store for more than 30 years, are considered extensions of the Amerosi family. They embody Gerald Peters’ four core values: Honesty and Integrity, Teamwork, Reputation over Profit, and the Gerald Peters Experience. These values will be as evident as ever in the new store, where an incomparable experience awaits.

watch trends 2025

This year, TUDOR presents bold new iterations of its most popular novelties, as well as classics that offer beauty of design and inherent, time-honored value.

This year TUDOR introduced the Black Bay 58 GMT for world travelers in a modern 39MM size. They’ve launched the newest iteration of the Black Bay in monochrome as well as a Black Bay Ceramic “Blue” in Honor of the partnership with the Visa Cash App RB Formula One team. On the Clair de Rose, available exclusively in stainless steel with mechanical movements, TUDOR has added a brand-signature blue dial. Finally, a new Pelagos FXD model joins the mix: a chronograph purpose-built for cycling. Here are some of TUDOR’S latest trend setters and time tested classics.

VINTAGE INSPIRATION. As one watch expert pointed out, it takes a lot more research-and-development money to introduce a new movement than to issue a watch based on one that’s already been made. Hence, the interest in watches with a vintage appeal. But there’s more to it than that: vintage watches offer a beauty of design and suggestion of inherent, time-honored value that’s especially appealing in today’s fast-paced, high-tech world. The TUDOR 1926 is a fine example.

BLUE DIALS Blue is the color of royalty, of blue bloods, and blue chip enterprises. The TUDOR Black Bay Ceramic “Blue” celebrates the partnering with the new Visa Cash App RB Formula One team. To mark the occasion, TUDOR created a team-exclusive version of its Master Chronometer certified Black Bay Ceramic, complete with a blue dial that matches the team’s striking livery.

RACING-INSPIRED WATCHES Watchmaking and racing have shared a connection for some time including classics like the Rolex Daytona and the Rolex YachtMaster II created specifically for yacht racing.

Engineered for riders of its Pro Cycling Team, TUDOR is unveiling a brand new Pelagos FXD model: a cycling themed chronograph made with light weight and functionality in mind. With a carbon composite case fitted with a high-performance Manufacture Calibre, this watch echoes the daring spirit of a team competing in some of the most challenging cycling races around the world, including the Giro d’Italia and the UCI World Tour.

SMALLER CASE SIZES We’ve seen a trend of reduced case size over the last few years as the appeal of vintage inspired watches has grown. The all-new, TUDOR Master Chronometer certified Black Bay 58 GMT at 39mm with its bidirectional Burgundy and black bezel with gold detailing epitomizes an era when the novelty of jet-setting across time zones was matched by glamorous and elegant style. It is named for one of TUDOR’s most iconic historical dive watches, the Ref. 7924, released in 1958.

ALL BLACK Ever since all-black watches became block-buster hits, every company has introduced their version. And this year, nothing changed. Watches with predominately black faces and black straps continue the bold, modern look that remains strong for men and women. Like the Black Bay Ceramic (shown at right).

QUIET

ELEGANCE. It’s the sartorial code for a way of dressing that’s effortlessly chic, nonchalant and stunning. The Clair de Rose is a classic TUDOR line whose name poetically refers to both clair de lune, “moonlight” in French, and the historical logo of the brand, a rose. The new iteration comes with mechanical movements in three sizes, each with two designs.

quiet luxury

Five Watches that Blend Form and Function in Perfect Harmony.

Labels are becoming a thing of the past— quiet luxury embraces the "if you know, you know" philosophy, merging minimalism and simplicity with high quality materials and finishing. The concept of quiet luxury has grown in popularity and prominence within the fashion industry and our culture at large throughout the past decade. However, many watchmakers have been taking this “quiet” approach to their timepieces for years. Here, we explore five watches that not only embody the trend but also exemplify the timelessness of straightforward, well-built designs.

BREITLING NAVITIMER 41

Breitling has a 140-year history of creating watches that withstand the test of time. One of its most emblematic designs is the Navitimer. This tool watch made its debut in 1952 and marked the first wristwatch for pilots to combine a chronograph and a computational slide rule. The initial design was highly complex and anything but simple—it focused solely on function, putting the complications at the forefront with very little branding on the dial aside from “Navitimer” in small script and the iconic winged Breitling logo. Since the Navitimer’s introduction to Breitling’s catalog, the brand has refined the design, which is beautifully exemplified in the modern Navitimer 41. The brand first began reworking the Navitimer in 2022 with a more pared down design by omitting the chronograph yet preserving the balanced dial composition. The clean dial ensures the intricate slide rule stands out while streamlining the overall aesthetics to achieve a more “quiet” elegance while retaining its technical capabilities.

TUDOR BLACK BAY 58 18K

Like the Navitimer, the Tudor Black Bay 58 has tool watch roots. The model gets its name from the year 1958 in which Tudor introduced its first dive watch with water resistance up to 200 meters. In its modern incarnation, Tudor has elevated the Black Bay 58 with a build in solid 18-karat yellow gold, marking a first for the brand’s divers. The choice of precious metal leans into the “luxurious” aspect of quiet luxury, perfectly balanced by the modest 39mm sizing that gives the watch a more subtle appearance on the wrist. Tudor pairs this with a number "if you know, you know" details, like a matte finish to the dial and the brand’s trademark “Snowflake” hands. Altogether, the current Black Bay line is inherently timeless thanks to a subtle blend of traditional aesthetics and contemporary watchmaking that bring together 70 years of Tudor’s dive watches into a singular and focused design.

TISSOT LE LOCLE POWERMATIC 80

In 2023, Tissot’s Le Locle collection celebrated its 20th birthday. The model is a culmination of the rich history of the brand, named for the town where Tissot was founded (Le Locle) and first introduced in 2003 in honor of the Maison’s monumental 150th anniversary. Tissot is known for its classic and elegant aesthetic across its catalog. However, the Le Locle line is perhaps the most traditional, giving it quiet luxury charm. Here you have a quintessential wristwatch with a round case, compact proportions, slim profile, and predominantly polished surfaces. Even details like the embossed Clous de Paris pattern dial of the anniversary edition allow the model to maintain its sleek appearance. The overall nature of the watch—pared down to the essentials—provides the minimalist backdrop for the slightly bolder brand and model placement on the dial without compromising the integrity of the design.

TUDOR ROYAL

Tudor’s Royal collection also takes roots in the 1950s, which is emblematic of the model’s time-tested design. The collection is notable for its highly balanced composition, marrying technical performance and refined aesthetics with features that borrow from both classic dress watches and sport watches. This combination of elements is the core of quiet luxury. With the Tudor Royal, you get a straightforward, no-frills design with basic branding reading merely “Tudor Geneve” at twelve o’clock. Despite the simplicity of this model, the playfulness comes in the vast array of combinations, including thirteen dial colors as well as various metals. The Tudor Royal is proof that just because quiet luxury lends itself to minimalism doesn’t mean it negates versatility. The Royal maintains a “quiet” appearance thanks to the foundation of the design, which lays the perfect canvas for the wearer to express themselves through style elements that reflect their unique personality

BREITLING X VICTORIA BECKHAM CHRONOMAT 36

When you consider a bold name like Victoria Beckham, you might think of anything but quiet luxury. However, the longtime fashion designer has been taking this approach to her wares for years and brings this sensibility to her first watch collection with Breitling. Rather than lean on passing trends, Beckham has always drawn inspiration from her surroundings and experiences to inform her designs. Her resulting collections consist of some conceptual looks but tend toward wardrobe staples in simple solid colors, often with a neutral palette anchored by one or two bolder shades. This design philosophy is reflected in her Chronomat 36 collection, which boasts simple lines and straightforward dials with minimal text and branding resulting in an effortlessly chic aesthetic that exudes quiet luxury.

THE GERALD PETERS TEAM shares their personal picks for the best pieces to give the jewelry and watch lovers on your list this Holiday.

“The Breitling Superocean Automatic 36 features a ceramic-inlayed bezel and brightly colored dials. Broad hands and indexes in luminescent Super-LumiNova® allow for easy readability underwater. The watch is water resistant to 300 m (1000 ft), as well as being shock-, sand- and saltwater-resistant. Best of all, this is no longer strictly a dive watch—surf with it, swim with it, hit the beach bar with it, then wear it out to dinner. The Superocean perfectly balances the nostalgia of its heritage with a fresh new look.”

-Richard W.

“To me, a diamond tennis bracelet is a staple for any jewelry wardrobe. We always carry a variety of sizes and styles in stock so you’ll be able to find the perfect one. I like this Jack Lewis 14K White Gold Diamond =Bracelet. Meaningful jewelry, beautifully designed.”

-Carlene C.

“My pick for this year is the new Rolex Perpetual 1908, decked in 950 platinum, with an ice blue dial featuring a guilloché rice-grain motif. This rosette-like design is distinctive for its three-dimensional, repeating geometric pattern that extends across the surface of the dial, starting from the small seconds counter at 6 o’clock. The minute track is surrounded by a filet sauté with a crimped pattern, which is also guilloché.”

“I love this Roberto Coin 18K Love in Verona Circle of Life Necklace and Matching Earrings. The delicate four-petaled floral motif repeats in diamonds in each piece as a reminder of our inner beauty.”

-Anna C.

"These Roberto Coin Venetian Princess Earrings are all you need to punch up a little black dress. Nature is the source of inspiration for these stunners, which are made by hand and imported from Italy. The floral designs, on 18K gold with round brilliant-cut pavé diamonds, are just gorgeous.”

-Gerald A.

“This 18K Rolex DayDate 36 is a great addition to any fine watch collection. The dial comes in your choice of green aventurine, carnelian or turquoise, with diamondset hour markers and Roman VI and IX, and diamond bezel.”

-Alana F.

“I love this delicate new 18K White Gold Small Inside Outside Diamond Hoop Earrings. My favorite style of jewelry is casual enough to wear everyday but also has just enough shine to show off its simplistic elegance.”

-Samantha O.

“Our 18K White Gold Diamond Drop Necklace is a droplet of a single pear-shaped diamond in a halo of round diamonds on an 18K gold link chain. More than enough sparkle to light up a room and add joy to your everyday. ”

“Jump start your stack with this Gabriel & Co. Bujukan Wide Band Ring that gives the look of several rings in one. The mixed metal design combines 14K white and yellow gold with eye-catching beading and a chain link motif. Dazzling 1.01ct diamonds draw all eyes to this fashion ring.”

-Donna P.

“The ultimate expression of true and enduring love, our Eternity Rings feature rare diamonds, selected from only the top color and clarity grades, expertly set, to create a superlative jewel that shines with maximum brilliance. From cushion-cut, to emerald-cut, to oval and round diamonds, our eternity rings are available in a variety of styles.”

LAYER UP

Looking for ways to keep your look fresh? Start stacking!

The layering craze, which made its grand entrance a few seasons ago, shows no sign of slowing down. It's a great way to make a statement with your jewelry and change up your look. But if you're new to the technique or if you struggle with mixing, matching and stacking, fear not. Here with selections from Hearts on Fire we show exactly how to do it using some of our favorite pieces.

layering necklaces-easy chic

Wearing multiple necklaces creates that easy-chic vibe that can elevate any outfit. Start with a long statement necklace. To spice things up, play with other looks, mixing and matching necklaces in varied styles, widths and lengths; that way, each individual piece stands out. Just be sure to keep the one closest to your neck simple, so it doesn't overwhelm you.

bracelets-endless styling possibilities Bracelets are easy to stack, easy to collect and easy to master because you aren't playing around with different lengths. For visual harmony and comfort, try to keep the weight of each bracelet consistent. And for maximum punch, pile on a few or arm each wrist with a different look —a bold cuff or stack on one and a more delicate bangle or two on the other. Keeping bracelets in the same metal unifies the look.

Mix-and-match rings-a one-of-a-kind look

Stacking rings come in all manner of shapes, sizes and designs — and that's what's great about them. One alone makes a pretty accent, but worn together they have maximum impact. And it's fun to grow a collection.

band together

State-of-the-heart wedding rings.

Who says your wedding band has to match your engagement ring? Or that couples must wear similar bands? Or that you even have to limit yourself to one band? Today there are so many ways to express your undying love that the simple gold band has come a long way. While it all starts with the engagement ring, a perfect union isn't required when pairing it with a wedding band, says Amanda Gizzi, a trend watcher for Jewelers of America. You can think outside the box and try different styles. The key is harmony. The rings should complement one another.

The same advice holds for the guys. Whether looking for something simple and understated or something with a little more character, choose what feels like you.

"The band represents who you are as an individual and also who you are as a couple," Gizzi says. "They don't have to be the same. Something as simple as engraving the insides can tie them together."

Here are just some of the possibilities you'll ind at Gerald Peters.

Look closely. Hidden details. Intricate craftsmanship. Always more than meets the eye.
