Umani Springs is a self-catering property nestled in the Kibwezi Forest overlooking waterholes fed by the Umani Springs. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has a concession to protect and preserve this diverse 16,000 acre ground water Forest, which borders the Chyulu Hills National Park. All revenue generated from this facility off-sets the concession fees payable to the Kenya Forest Service and the costs associated with the sustainable protection and preservation of this uniquely beautiful yet essentially fragile ecosystem. This beautiful and stylish property comprises of: * A mess building with dining and sitting areas. * Five bedrooms; 1 single unit and two double units, with the capacity to sleep ten people. * Inside bathrooms and outside showers for each unit. * A fully equipped spacious kitchen with stores. * The best swimming pool imaginable. The property comes complete with: * Fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, fridge and freezer, crockery and cutlery. * All bed linen and towels along with mosquito nets. * Beautifully appointed furnishing. * Solar power throughout the camp. * Staff members and a cook who look after the camp and guests.
