Once you are comfortable skateboarding around its time to learn some tricks. This will give you a good foundation for harder skateboarding tricks. Here are some basic trick you should learn: The ollie (the basic jump on skateboarding), 180 (the basic skateboard and body spin trick), a shuvit (a basic skateboard spin), Manual (a basic skateboarding trick in which you move on one truck. Once you have learned these skateboarding tricks above you should be ready for more advanced skateboarding tricks. Spin/flip Tricks. Once you are comfortable with basics such as the ones mentioned above its time to learn some more advanced ones. These more advanced skateboarding trick include flip and spin tricks. Flip trick looker very cool and include tricks such as kickflips, backside flips, heelflips, variels, and 360 flips. Spin tricks are a great way to change things up and look very stylish. Some spin tricks are 360 pop shuvits, big spins, and 360s. You can also take it to the next level and combine flip and spin tricks. Grinds. Nothing is more satisfying on a skateboard than nailing a grind. Grinds are great way to add variety to your bag of tricks. Grinds are when a skateboarder uses there trucks or there wooden part of there board to slide on rails, ledges, and boxes. Here are some basic skateboard grinds to get you started: 50-50, boardslide, krooked grinds, and 5-0. Conclusion: Trick are extremely fun to preform and are definitely worth learning. Also they look very impressive to any on lookers. It is important to learn the basic trick first than work you way up to more advanced skateboarding tricks. My Big Tip: My biggest tip would be to be very patient. Some of these trick can be very difficult but with practice they can very realistically be done. Trust me nothing is more satisfying than landing trick you've been working on for months. Trouble Shooting: Question: I try to do trick but I don't have the confidence to commit to them. Answer: This can be solved by getting your self really in the zone, doing your trick on the grass, or by taking tricks apart step by step.
