If you want to make a cat tree for your large cat then there are a few things that you will want to know about. I used to love it when my cat was smaller and spunkier than it is now. He used to jump around all over the place and chase everything around. Once he got larger however, he got a little bit lazier and I needed to find a way to get him the exercise that his body was used to getting. This was a big cat tree that I could build for my cat. It stood 5 feet high, had carpeting, and had 2 scratching posts that my cat could use to sharpen his claws on. I was psyched now! Then I started thinking about the cost of the materials. I figured that it must cost a lot of money to be able to make a cat tree because they sold for a lot of money everywhere I looked. I was pleasantly surprised when I found a section in the book that showed me ways that I could save money on the materials that I needed. It even told me about some things I could use that I already had lying around my apartment. Now the excitement was too much to contain and I was ready to get started immediately.
When all was said and done it only took me a few hours to make a cat tree for my large cat. After I gathered all of the materials I needed and started following the directions, it was a breeze. I actually had a lot of fun doing it, and I know that it is something my cat will love for years to come. If you have a large cat like me and want to be able to build a tree that is large enough for him to play on then I suggest building your own cat tree. You will be able to save a lot of money, the plans are easy to follow, and you will have a lot of fun doing something for yourself and for your cat.
