Congratulations!
T
he session is almost over. You have shown how hard you can work, how heated the debates can get. However, you should make sure that you take the memories with you. And that is where the Media Team helps you out. This issue is rather fat and consists of 12 pages and, actually, caters to any taste in the truest and figurative senses of the word. Relive the moments of the Euroconcert, familiarize yourself with the session impressions of your fellow delegates. Following the Christmas festivities theme, have a glimpse of your future within this organization by taking
the EYP-career Quiz. Find out the details of the peculiarities of Russia-EU relations. Turn your memories into something tangible by cooking a dish that was offered at the Rusvillage. Lastly, I would like to congratulate each and every one of you on your first EYP session. This is a good start that opens a lot of doors. Goodbye‌

Talents without Borders Evelina Kuznetsova shares her impressions of the Euroconcert.
‘‘P
ut your hands up in the air! Dan Absalyamov from EMPL here, c’mon everyone!’’ That is what I hear sitting in the first row of the Euroconcert hall. The boy on the stage is rapping his own freestyle and trying to turn on the crowd. All that the audience now wants is for the Euroconsert to never stop! All EYPers are here and everything is running smoothly. This is a story of a journalist who attended the event. I was incredibly surprised by the performance of Zarina Kudashova from SEDE with her song from Pocahontas which

was sung in seven languages. The song format made the Euroconcert more European and united. After that I saw Maria Lamazhapova from the republic of Kalmykia with her national dance called «Shapochka» which was brilliantly performed. The beauty of her «shapochka» and costume, her splendid attitude, smile on her face, all these things represented her town’s features. Later musical performances which were not less exciting than the others followed. Lots of applause were addressed to Anna Kolodeznikova from Yakutsk

who played her national musical instrument called khomus. Next the delegates surprised us in the most unforgettable way: George from CULT and Anna from LIBE seemed to be such an amazing couple of musicians but then something went wrong and the pretty Anna run off the stage wearing a white dress with tears in her eyes. It is okay to be nervous during the performance and unfortunately this time Anna could not help it. Nevertheless, she succeeded to pull herself together and tried once more with one of the organisers, Mika. In the end of the concert there was one extra song written by the HeadOrganiser, Erix Varpahovskis, «Life is today» (available online)! Anna Melkina from CULT recited a poem in Chinese and added an Eastern note to the whole event. But EMPL had also the whole committee perfom and it seemed like the leading girl was supported not only by the audience but also by her own team. The Euroconcert will be something special to remember for everyone.

Impressions, Impressions, Impressions Tamer Ă–zgen turns to delegates for impressions as the session comes to a close.
A
s the end of the session is approaching fast, The Snow Post wanted to capture the delegates’ opinion and feelings about and towards this session as most of the participants were first time EYPers. Here is the list of anonymous impressions. This session seems to be quite exciting as we do not only work but also have some fun and play games. Moreover, the way how we work on our resolution is really efficient, since we do not just add useless points to our resolution but we discuss them together carefully and this shows the progress we made as a united team. I also like the friendly atmosphere which is not only visible in my committee but throughout the whole session. EYP is all about friendship and I really like the co-operative atmosphere which helps to be open-minded. Though, we do not find the best ideas, in the end it does not matter since we can maintain that atmosphere at all times. As we live in the days where integration has a fundamental role, I believe EYP is the best experience to integrate with young people for further incorporation. As a very first time EYPer, I can easily say that I have had the
moment of my life in this session. Especially, meeting people from all parts of Russia made me realize the diversity of our country and I find it a unique experience The very things that impressed me most were the strange EYP traditions. At first, I was not comfortable with the idea of spending a couple of days with the people that I do not know but then it turned into a great experience for me. I hope one day I can become an organiser in a Russian session and lead EYP Russia to the top level. Thanks to amazing EYP games, I had the fun that I have never had before. Moreover, working with people from all over the Russian Federation made me realize how big our country is and how many things I can learn from all these people. EYP is both a difficult and interesting organisation since I want to sleep and deepen

knowledge at the same time. However, I could not understand the necessity of being a team since I found Teambuilding a very boring event. Nonetheless, I think I achieved what I wanted to achieve while coming here and making friends was also an extra benefit. I personally believe that the organisation was done pretty good. I even liked the food that was served, though, most of the people did not. My chair and journalist were working really well and they made this session an unforgettable event for me. It was a big achievement to pass the tennis ball over seven meters and I believe that was when we caught the team spirit. Furthermore, playing Abigail with Russian names such as Natasha and Maxim was overwhelming. That’s why from now on; I will play this game with my friends so as to make their brains work. 5

However, we surely need to develop further. I believe that Russia and the EU should get closer and that Russia should be more involved with the European society. Ekaterina Fedorova, ECON I think Russia has a really good relationship with the EU. Nevertheless, there are misunderstanding and tensions about several issues. We can overcome those problems only if we work together in a joint cooperation. George Ivanov, CULT

he session could be perfect, but nothing is infinite. Sooner or later it will be over. After all, you have to say goodbye to your Committee, sleep as much as you want and start to think about something except your committee topic. And here it comes, the main disease of all EYPers. Do you stand any chance of escaping it? They say everything becomes a habit in 21 days, but you get used to good things very quickly. We get used to EYP in a few days because of its unique atmosphere. Is it your first EYP experience? If not, can you remember your first session? How excited you were after your first Teambuiding? Every session makes wonders to delegates. You would hum The Big Fat Pony during all your free time, think about new solutions for your topic, use Direct Response in everyday life. What is wrong with you? You were right when you

decided to come to the doctor. Congratulations, you had P.E.D.! Do not worry, you will live! Post EYP Depression (P.E.D.) is a disease caused by the end of the parliamentary session, accompanied by the use of a foreign language in everyday life and the desire to play ice-breaking games. These symptoms go hand in hand with psychological lack of attention and communication, and the desire to come back to the committee, the chocolate will not help. According to experienced EYPers, there is no way to escape such a desease. One of the seasoned specialists, Mr. Prejedovich, gave a definition of PED: “it is a strong emotion that… one team experiences after the separation from the other”. Dr. Surkov just said that there is no medicine against it.
eyp-russia.org
As for delegates, they said that they certainly will miss their team and would get post EYP depression. One of chairs said that PED surely existed and all of you should be afraid of this decease. You may think that PED is just a myth. It seems like PED is not so common for forums and national sessions but rather for international ones. It is logical, ISes are a lot bigger and longer, so you become true friends with other delegates. But it is not quite true, even small session can really build strong teams and delegates will be friends. Anyway, Post EYP Depression is usually caused not only by your lovely committee but rather the atmosphere. You have your roommates who had several pajama parties, your delegation. Every session of the EYP leaves really deep trails in your life and in your heart. How many wonderful emotions you experienced here! As you already know there is no treatment of PED. However, there is one method to slightly relieve the PED symptoms. You should keep in touch with your committee, cute chairs and also your journalists who have many photos of you. Social networks, phone numbers, addresses… Do not forget to exchange contacts! You will have a chance to meet again! http://vk.com/eyp.russia
