His remains are partially there within a crypt alongside those who fought with him in Bolivia. Che’simportanceisheldinthefactthathewasseenas such a threat by the Americans; they saw him as a force that can subvert their domineering power and exploitation over Latin America. However, the memorial argues against that narrative, that Latin Americaisnotpowerless,despitetheUnitedStates’.
