Ice Skating and Bumper Cars Return!

Slide and glide into the holiday season! The U.C. Health Rink presented by Fifth Third Bank opens Saturday, Nov. 5 and promises a fun time for all. Located at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati, skating and bumper car fun will be available through February 20, 2023. The ice rink features Bumper and Skating sessions for $15 or skating alone for $10. Children ages 4 and younger are free and do not need to be included when you reserve a session. Anyone age 5 or older must have a paid admission to enter even if they are not participating in skating. When Bumpers and Skating is in session, the ice will be divided into two sections with skating on one side and bumper cars on the other. The rink will operate seven days a week with hours and session type varying. Be sure to review all of site's posted frequently asked questions before booking!

All Aboard the North Pole Express

The LM&M Railroad is once again offering a magical event for families this season. The North Pole Express takes passengers down the tracks of Warren County, Ohio along with Santa and his elves on a one-hour-and-fi fteen-minute journey. Train cars are decorated with holiday lights and all kid passengers receive a souvenir bell and a holiday cookie. Hot chocolate can be purchased at the station prior to boarding — bring it on board for the ride! The dates for the North Pole Express are Nov. 18, 19, 20, 23, 26 and 27 and Dec. 1 - 4; 7 - 11; and 14 - 23. Weekdays rides are at 6 and 8 p.m. and Saturday jaunts are at 12, 2, 4, 6 and 8 p.m. Tickets range from $22 - $50, but babies under age 2 are $5. Go ahead and don holiday jammies!

New Athletic Training Available in Anderson

Looking to take your family's physical performance to the next level? D1 Training is opening a new location in Anderson Township at the end of this month! Located at 8315 Beechmont Avenue, this specialized facility will offer group sessions to ages 7 - 11 (Rookies ), 12 - 14 (developmental) and 15 - 18 (prep); there will also be family and adult training, too. The coaching, science-backed sports and targeted workouts are designed to challenge athletes of every age to elevate their skills and be at their physical best.

Head to the brand-new Great Parks' event, Holidays on the Farm, to experience the magic that nature offers during chilly months! The brand-new Deck the Y’alls Lightfest at Thomas More Stadium will have the entire stadium illuminated with more than 2 million lights and immersive displays. The event runs Nov. 25 - Jan. 1 and activities include an outdoor ice skating rink, a ferris wheel, carnival games, rides, vendors, s’mores, Santa and more.
