Gather a carload of friends and family and prepare to be dazzled for the light show

Holiday Wonders at Bowie

Park (7211 Bowie Lake Rd., Fairview) from 6 to 9 p.m. every Thursday through Saturday through Dec. 23. Before you head out of Bowie Park be sure to stop by the Nature Center, transformed into Santa’s Village, for a quick visit and free photo op with Santa, hot cocoa, cookies and a take-home craft for the kids. Cost is $25 per vehicle.

Join Santa on an indoor & outdoor holiday adventure through three festive universes spread out over 100,000 square feet at Jingle Beat, running at Nashville Fairgrounds through Dec. 31.

Travis Price Park (4155 Wilkes Rd., Springfield). Winter Wonderland features a display of thousands of lights and more than a dozen holiday scenes from 5:30 - 9 p.m.

More than 500 custom-made silk lanterns will be spread across 60 acres, creating displays with your favorite Zoo animals, holiday-themed scenes and even a 200-foot-long dragon. Plus, select animal exhibits will be open late, including Sumatran tiger, Andean bear and Unseen New World.
