Soundwaves Experience At Gaylord Opryland
2800 Opryland Dr., Nashville, TN 37214 • 615-889-1000 • soundwavesgo.com
Open year round, SoundWaves is 111,000 square feet of water attractions and activities (but there are still no day passes!)
Sure, everybody wants to go to SoundWaves, Gaylord Opryland’s four-and-a-half year-old water experience located at the resort. But the only guaranteed two ways to get in remain the same: book a party room or book an overnight SoundWaves Experience Package. Tennessee residents can save up to 35 percent on select dates; residents of Davidson County can save up to 40 percent on select dates. Reserving one of the three SoundWaves Party Rooms may be your most affordable option (online reservations only). Reservations start at $47 plus tax and service charge per person Mon - Thu; $70 on weekends and holidays. The tab includes all park access all day with wristbands for guests, pizza, soda and parking. Kids 3 and younger are free with an adult.
Of course the overnight option rate varies, but the online price for a family of four in one room with SoundWaves wristbands is upwards of $379.
Attractions at SoundWaves include a wave pool with a giant LED movie screen, indoor surfing, a 45-foot slide tower, rapid and lazy rivers, two adults-only pools and 11 water slides. Little kids can enjoy the “Quarter Note Cove” and “Half Note Cove.” Private cabana rentals are available to guests who purchase a SoundWaves experience package; each cabana is for up to six guests which can be conjoined for up to 12. Cabanas include water, a refrigerator, chairs and a TV. For more details and reservations, go to soundwavesgo. com.
