I am Rani Chouhan from PBEL City (Kalimandir, Hyderabad). I am the eldest among the four children in my family. I left my education after completing my senior secondary examination for the reason that my younger ones could also get a chance to study. My father is a small shopkeeper, who used to sell coal to customers. His income is not enough for our studies, house rent and family maintenance. Being the eldest, I want to help my father financially by getting indulge in some kind of job. But it was becoming impossible for me to get a job with my little qualification and poor knowledge in English. It was at that difficult time when I got an opportunity to get trained by DB Tech under BASE programme. This program is helping many youngsters like me, who did not get a chance to prove their ability. Through this program, we get another chance to achieve our goals. When I enquired about the course, the trainers asked me to appear a test, which was really interesting. I thought that it was another examination that I need to qualify to enroll in this free training. But when I saw the questions, it was really very easy to answer; particularly I was asked to share my interest and disinterest in any topic. First time, I appeared the test with 100 percent satisfaction. After that my trainer advised me to enroll in the Hospitality course. Frankly I never listened the Hospitality term in my life and was quite hesitant to take up this course. But the trainer used to teach in a quite friendly manner using video

clips related to the specific domain and conducted practical classes regularly. I have learnt the subject very interestingly. I used to score good in the tests conducted during the course. I have improved my communication skills and have learned life skills like time management, money management, regularity, punctuality, goal setting and decision making along with computer skills, which is really required in Hospitality sector. Besides all these skills, I also learned the most important interview skills and became confident to get a job for myself. It was the happiest day of my life when at the campus interview, HR from Café Coffee Day declared that I have selected to work with them. After being successful in completing the training and getting job, I feel that a new life has been started and now I can support my family. Observing my work style, Cafe Coffee Day authorities are happy to promote me as BRU-Master. Now I am the BRUMaster. Whenever I find something challenging, the knowledge received from DB Tech come as a savior to me. Today, I am able enough to earn Rs. 7, 278 per month. Recently I have also been informed that I am going to attend 40 days training, which will help me become Store Manager; and my salary will be increased to Rs.10,000 per month. I am really grateful to DB Tech and my trainers, who has helped me to reach here. Surely I will help the less fortunate around me in the society, this is a lesson I learned after I got associated with DB Tech.
