Mr Cambridge Livingston November 14,1867 Dear Sir I The Priesbyterin-Church of this city holds five thousand
dollars stock of the Washington and New Orleans Telegraph Co leased as we understand to the American Magnetic Co for ten years from July 1, 1867 paying
six per cent semi annually We hive received time the regular interest through
George Wood except the interest due July last. We wish to know to _whom we
are to look for it. Mr Wood in is letter dated April 25, 1867 with printed
circular notice inclosed of a meeting of the stockholders at the office of
the W N Telegraph Co Washington City says the object of the meeting is to transfer the seat of operations from Washington to New York inasmuch as the lease had been transfrred to,the Western Union Co. Not receiving our interest
as usual through Mr Wood I take the liberty of asking you any information
on the subject will greatly oblige
