TBCC FIESTA’S EDITION
Fiesta’s Edition is a dark red, powerfully made bull. His clean front and length of body give him a good look from the side and he stands on a big foot and bone plus moves with ease. This is a bull that will add performance to his calves and look good in your pasture.
Clvf Clvf Up Right 31j
FIESTA’S EDITION
Up Right 31J has been one of my favorites since weaning. You talk about a bull that’s going to put pounds and style into his calves look no further than this guy here. The potential is endless for this guy here in making bulls and replacement females. Backed by the great Ashlie cow family from the Green Hills program which need no introduction to the Gelbvieh breed. A bull that has all the right parts and pieces and not to mention his laid back attitude to be successful for years to come in a breeding program. Retaining these 3 successful flushes with minimum of 8 eggs at buyers convenience and sellers expense.

This heifer has been a standout since birth a female that offer a ton of potential weather you decide to take her home and show her or turn her out as a breeding prospect we think the options are endless with this one. A heifer that is so deep bodied yet still super clean fronted and combines it all in a super sound package. Hilc Lucille 775k
HILC LUCILLE 775K stems from one of our best Angus cow families, the BJF Lucy 2075. This cow family has proven time and time again to produce attractive functional cattle that can stand the test of time. Lucille 775K is a promising young show prospect that can compete in the ring and produce in the pasture. She is sired by HILC All Star 500D our herd sire that we campaigned with a lot of success a few years ago and continues to produce the kind of eye appealing cattle we like to produce. Her dam is a full sister to some of our previous bull consignments that were admired for their eye appeal and functionality. 775K is one that made me do a lot of explaining on picture day as our daughter was asking some tough questions as to why we were selling this one and why she wasn’t showing her instead. I am still not sure that my answer “We can’t keep them all“ was a valid argument in her eyes although I’m proud that she has developed an “Eye” for the good ones.
Ccrc Ms Ccrc Carolina Justice 586k
Carolina Justice CCRC 586K was the last natural calf out of our joint venture donor cow, Carolina 3326A ET, with R&D Owen Farms. Homozygous black and homozygous polled, Carolina Justice has an excellent EPD profile that would be easy to mate with most bulls. Carolina Justice sports a clean neck and head, but also has that deep soggy middle that makes such great dams. We believe she has the potential to make someone an excellent future donor cow.
Rdbo Ms Grand Entry 131j
Ms Grand Entry 131Y is a homozygous black, homozygous polled Grand Entry daughter. Grand Entry was the 2020 People’s Choice Bull Futurity Runner Up. Ms Grand Entry 131J was the Balancer class winner and the runner up Division winner in the 2022 KY State Fair. She will be a great show heifer and a great addition for genetic improvement. Serious breeders will want to consider adding her to their program. Breeding information available sale day.
Rdbo Ms O Grand Entry 126j
Ms O Grand Entry 126J is a homozygous black, homozygous polled Grand Entry daughter. Grand Entry was purchased in Denver after being named 2020 People’s Choice Balancer Bull Futurity Runner Up. Ms O Grand Entry was Gelbvieh class winner and division winner in the 2022 KY State Fair. This young lady has the pedigree, eye appeal, and EPDS to increase your Bottom line for years to come. Breeding information available sale day.

Take a look at the one you would want to own at the end of any sale! Whether you want to show her or put her in your donor pen she will work! The kids finally convinced me to sell our best Balancer show heifer. We aren’t going to make the trip to South Dakota for Junior Nationals this summer so here’s your opportunity to own a great one! 166J is the first female ever sold out of our senior Angus herd sire Burks 147G (Musgrave Sky High x FCF Missie 421) and dammed by a super first calf leverage cow that is donor pen bound. 166J is DNA verified homo black and homo polled and has a super EDP profile. She is little kid broke and ready to show. She was A.I. bred on 12-04-2-22 to TPG Frontrunner 2510F (AMGV1439628). Ms O Grand Entry 126j
Performance, pedigree, and a true 50% Balancer brood cow is the way to describe this beautiful black, spring-calving bred heifer. We primarily calve in the fall. Otherwise, she would be a definite keeper for our herd. Successful shown last year from the Junior nationals to the Kentucky State Fair, to the NAILE, she’s passed all the confirmation, competitiveness, and docility boxes. It’s time to be what she was developed to be, a wonderful spring calving cow. She was A.I. bred on 6/30/2022 to EGL Lifeline (AMGV1298079). Confirmed bred. This black, homo polled Insight (Angus) daughter is out of our foundation, a Maverick/Riley purebred daughter. You’ll love this impressive female.

Dear Friends,
Welcome to the 37th Annual Kentucky Farm Bureau Beef Expo! As the largest beef cattle state east of the Mississippi River, Kentucky is blessed to have this event as a staple on our agriculture calendar each year.
Every year at the Beef Expo, Kentucky cattle producers show and sell some of the best cattle in the country to buyers looking to upgrade their genetics or take home a show project. This event is truly the place for the beef industry on the first weekend in March.
Over the years, we’ve seen ups and downs in the beef cattle market. But despite challenges, the industry is still in the top five for Kentucky agriculture, accounting for 13 percent of state agriculture receipts in 2022. This is a true testament to Kentucky’s cattle producers.
Agriculture across Kentucky saw some unique challenges in 2022 when devastating weather events and animal disease across the state had huge impacts on agriculture. But despite all of it, economists from the University of Kentucky recently reported agricultural receipts for 2022 could be a record-high $8 billion, well surpassing the 2021 record-high of $6.9 billion.
These numbers show how important agriculture is to the state of Kentucky and cattle producers are a large reason for that. With nearly a million head of beef cattle in the commonwealth and more than 38,000 farms with beef cattle, Kentucky is one of the top states in the country for beef inventory.
As we move forward this year, one of the priorities for the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and myself is maintaining Kentucky’s leader status as host of major agricultural shows. In an effort to make that happen, last year state legislators appropriated $200 million for renovations for the Kentucky Exposition Center.
In November, the Kentucky State Fair Board, where I serve as a member, presented a three-phase plan to renovate and redevelop the Expo Center and the land surrounding it including upgrades to Freedom Hall, the West Wing and Broadbent Arena – areas where many of our agricultural shows take place. The plan would allow us to continue to use the space for events, such as this one, as construction revives it to a state-of-the-art facility that rivals anything like it across the country.
Lastly, a lot of work goes into making this event possible every year. As always, I wish to thank Kentucky Venues CEO David Beck and his team for the many hours that went into hosting this event.
Again, welcome, and best wishes on an enjoyable and successful Kentucky Farm Bureau Beef Expo. If I or any of my staff can be of service to you, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Sincerely,
Ryan F. Quarles Commissioner of Agriculture Commonwealth of Kentucky
