Gelbvieh and Red Angus Welcome to Overmiller Gelbvieh and Red Angus, Wow, what we all do for fun! It has to be fun and love that keeps us all driven to feed the world after all we go through. This has been a trying and rewarding last 12 months. We want to thank each of you for your labors and for allowing our genetics to be a part of your operations. Wow! That was the opening paragraph from last years catalog. New year, same story right? Well, every year has its challenges and rewards. We just feel fortuanate to live out here in the middle of nowhere and get to raise cattle and their feed and see the beauty and wonders of nature. Some of you may know, but many may not that dad, Roger got hit hard by Covid 19 and spent 40 days in the hospital from just after Thanksgiving until into January. He is now home and making some ground. Thanks to all who did know for your thoughts and prayers as he had a pretty serious experience. This just reasurred our belief that the best people are those in Production Agriculture. One thing that got Kelly and Brent hooked on beef production was showing cattle at the county fair. Well Reid finally was old enough this past summer to join 4H. He took a home raised steer and breeding heifer and was fortuante enough for both of them to be selected Grand Champion. Ironically the 2 were 3/4 sibs out of a past herd sire here and females that were born here. Hope he dosen’t expect that every year! As you read the foot notes if there’s a lot of mention of dams and not just the individual bulls, it’s because we believe the cows truely make the difference. These bulls are backed by some of the very best cows in their respective breeds through ET, their sires’ dams, or their dams and granddams. We believe the cow makes the difference. We extend a warm welcome to all and a sincere Thank You to all our past customers and friends for your loyal support and interest in our breeding program. We feel we have great cattle producers as our customers and love hearing of impressive weaning weights or how well above the national avgerage for kill data our customers home raised cattle went. When you can go back and pull genetics out of the tank on a 2003 model cow mated to a 2012 bull and all 3 of the offspring sort to the top of the pen you know she was a really good cow. 310N produced sale topping bulls and females, and she flushed 20-30 embryos every time. These 3 bulls have extra style and always catch your eye. The old 310N cow always put some extra hip and power in her calves and thats what these guys have. She is so old and old pedigreed that her EPD’s are terrible, but she never had an average calf. The “10” line has produced multiple sale topping bulls that have had semen sold on them as well as several donors. Speaking of donors, the sire Zamboni is out of the X13 donor who is the grand dam of Draft Pick. Zamboni was a sale topper himself who has just about sold out of semen.

Growth with style and balance. Built structurally right. This one catches everyones eye, as he was the standout calf out of all the first calf heifers’ calves. He holds his own with the calves out of mature cows.
