KC66 DOES DOFFO AGAIN
Bookending the Kurt Caselli Foundation’s funding efforts are the Annual Ride For Kurt at Fox Raceway and the season kick-off at Doffo Winery. Taking the Baja-line between the two events is the specialty merchandise in the Shop, including apparel, course marking kits and safety gear. This trifecta has paid off: Since its inception in 2013, with support from sponsors and donors, The Kurt Caselli Foundation has raised over two million dollars, spent $900,000 to fund various offroad motorcycle safety initiatives, and awarded $132,500 in educational scholarships to racers who are enrolled at an accredited college or trade school.
The 8th Annual Caselli MotoDoffo event in Temecula was another winner, raising more than $41,000 for its mission of Protecting & Supporting The Lives of Off-Road Riders. The non-profit also presented 8 scholarships for the fall 2022 season, raised awareness of the foundation and brought together the industry and off-road community for a great cause.
Last year KCF sweep/medic vests were introduced at the annual winery event, and since then, 40+ vests have been donated to off-road motorcycle sanctioning bodies and clubs. Some 25 races/series across the country work with KCF, and last year the Foundation started working with the Moto4Kids youth MX series offering year-round racing. For 2022, the Foundation also expanded its Riders1st Responders First Aid/CPR classes.
Couldn’t make it to the Ride Day or the winery, but still want to support the KC66 Foundation? Consider getting one of The Kurt Caselli Foundation’s Medic Sweep vests for Moto Medics, and donating it to your local riding club. That not only supports the Foundation, but also spreads the “Protecting & Supporting Off-Road Riders” mantra. A comprehensive list of safety items is packed into a WLF Enduro Pack Vest, complete with a PCI Two-Way Radio and Velcro identification patches. Over a $510 value, available to your organization for a $366 donation! shop.kurtcaselli.com/collections/safety/products/ sweep-medic-vest
During the presentation, KCF President Donny Emler Jr. announced a new safety initiative to provide a mobile medical X-Ray machine for racers! The Foundation has been working with OXOS Medical about possibly purchasing a Micro C, the world’s first handheld compact x-ray machine. It is a safe, fast and accurate imaging device that allows x-ray imaging at the point of care. The new technology was displayed at the event.
About The Kurt Caselli Foundation

While we understand the inherent elements of danger in this industry, we aim to help minimize this danger to the best of our ability.
