dear you

you hide inside my memories, every day of every year. i’m the paper

and you’re the glue; i am completely stuck to you. you treat me like

dirt, like soggy mud that sits and rotts. i am dying inside and you are living. i feel like i am made of sand because i’m always being washed away by your hurtful words. not only do you tease me with your words, but you knock me down with your actions. i remember when you used to be all mine. we would melt into eachother - mould into eacho-

ther. love was us and we lived within its spirit. you would pull me close, so close that i could hear your heart beating and you would stroke my hair until i was asleep in your arms. nothing in the world stopped us from loving eachother. but one day my world of sunshine became my world of darkness. you left me to bleed. i am broken and i just want you to know that you were the biggest mistake of my life. in life you must learn from your mistakes; if you don’t, you become the mistake.

love, me

I need to know what it feels like to live. I won't survive. We won't survive. I will live a life that's true, painful and just as beautiful as a morning sun, or a new moon. Running in open fields, feeling the grass below my feet as if I were not touching the ground, as if I was running so fast to start flying, spreading my wings and crying out to the world that I am free. Free from the judgements , free from the hypocrisy free from all and nothing. Just living a life that's worth living, the way it was meant to be from the very start. And when my wings will tire out, and I'll fall to the ground, I'll start running again faster than before. Running into the unknown, playing with fire without getting burned, blowing out the sun only to fly up into the sky to light it again. Swimming the whole ocean with the weight that drags me down. Being buried alive by the troubles made of sand, shaking off the dust and taking a step up. Keep stepping up. Once I've seen it all, i’ll run back the way I came from, flying up again. Only to explore everything a second time with the eyes of a child. That same child that allowed me to live the life I wanted, the life I had always dreamed of living. From heaven things are different, I bet you they wish they were here, just to take my example and set their wings to fly. Always aim for the sky.
